Zach Lowe on the NBA - SI (http://nba-point-forward.si.com/2011/08/16/top-100-nba-players-nos-1-10/)
A few former Bobcats made the list...but no current ones.

LeBron is getting a lot of hate on RGM right now and Rose is the new "OMGAH HEZ TEH BEST PLAYR EVAH" guy so most disagree with the list. I'm sure my comment got a lot of hate (haven't checked yet), but I'll repeat for the hell of it.
I think the top 9 are spot on and it begins to fall apart at Pau (10). Carmelo needs to move up to 10th and the rest of the 10-20 guys need to move down/mix up a bit

Kinda sad when you think that with 30 teams, you take 100 players and on average each team should have 3, and that another 1/3rd of the teams (10) would have 4. Does any other team not even have 1? Off the top of my head I think I remember that Cleveland had Varejao, Toronto Bargnani, Minnesota Love, Sacramento Tyreke, Wizards Wall.
I'm pretty sure one of our guys will get up there by the next year, if only because someone will have to put up stats (maybe).
And I agree, Gasol ranked too high above Aldridge and Z-Bo.

I have a hard time accepting that none of Tyrus, DJ, Hendo, Diaw, or Kemba are top 100 players.

I think that they are right, we don't have any players who are top 100 players, I don't think rookies were included, but I believe Kemba will make the list next year. I noticed that G. Wallace was not on the list either.

Nobody on our team is better than Nick Collison, Ron Artest, Andrei Kirilenko, or Anderson Varejao?

Really, we just need some national exposure. I mean we need better players, too, obviously, but I think we may have some solid players on the roster just nobody bothers to watch.
Diaw is being underrated in terms of this article (which is based on a win now scenario) in my opinion. He hasn't missed a game in forever, manages to log big minutes, does a decent job guarding (a lot of time on much bigger players), is a good facilitator, and has excellent touch around the basket. Dude helped out Kwame a bunch with great passes for easy dunks. I think he can step up to the moment too, but never has felt that pressure that much in Charlotte with Felton, Crash, and Jax usually taking the spotlight, and he probably prefers it that way anyways so he can just focus on his Segway driving skills. But he is certainly more skilled than certain players on this list and is a better player "at the moment."

This is a shame. Gerald Wallace is a much better player than many on the list.

Crash is actually number 39 on SI's list.

Stephen Jackson is 75.
On ESPN S-Jax is 77 and Crash is 48. ESPN's are done by combining scores from a large panel and I think the list suffers from that. There's some weird rankings.
And yes, no current Bobcat is on either list.
