So he will save money on the Dust Chip but will waste it by talking about the lockout. Not clever MJ

Reading through the comments (and somewhat unrelated) It gets really annoying when
1. People make everything a political debate.
2. People still bitch and moan about the arena.

On all the Observer blogs, all the comments eventually turn into political bickering. they need some moderators big-time.

That's become a big reason why I stay far away from the comments there. Any article about the Bobcats eventually ends up being peppered with both those things, it seems.

As a player, he once told Washington Wizards owner Abe Pollin that if he couldn’t afford to compete, he should sell his team.
How ironic.

100k is probably like a putting a dollar in the offering to MJ. No change that, it is. But seriously though he should know better.

Bobcats owner Michael Jordan talks and $100,000 walks after NBA fine
Oh I bet Ol' Ricky was pleased with himself for thinking something that witty up!

I'm sure he won't mind the 100K tax write off.

I know it doesn't effect him, its just the fact that he is stupid enough to get fined. It's careless and just shows how knieve he is

I don't really think he is stupid or naive. Probably just slipped, not like it was anything we didn't already know. Seems like the NBA is a stickler for rules to me.

I love basketball, I love the NBA, but the business of basketball sucks... To me its ridiculous to be fined for expressing his opinion or giving a answer to a question... Its all just a big money wheel that is spinning out of control... Big business sucks! Greedy owners and players are making basketball suck... Its time to get on with the program and play some basketball...IMO :)
He apparently makes over 100K a day so this isn't going to hurt him.
