Which team do you think complained? lol

This is understandable, but this is the logical way to do the draft without screwing everything and the weaker teams up. A redo, why should the contenders get a crack at the likes of Barnes and Rivers. There is no way of telling if an lottery team would have improved without playing a game. I think that the smaller markets should holdout for a better CBA, plus nothing should be changed in the draft. And not all poorly ran teams were lotto teams, i believe. Something gotta give.

the only way i would agree with a league wide draft is if small markets and lotto teams get better concessions and that better weighted draft where top teams don't draft in the first round. lol

They should just redo the lottery to give all teams a chance at the top 3. Otherwise, the order should remain the same. I don't see how you can come up with a different order for the picks other than 1-3.
