Reliable Sources say that in an effort to get Chris Paul in Charlotte a tree way trade has been proposed between the Hornets a Jazz. The Hornets get DJ Augustin and a lifetime supply of shoes and the Jazz get a written apology for the 1997 and 1998 Finals from Jordan. More details to follow.

Reliable sources now saying the Hornets, Rockets and Lakers are working through the evening to complete a trade sending Chris Paul to the Lakers; that is more favorable to the Lakers and crappy enough to the Hornets for the Commissioner to accept.

Knicks worried they might be stuck with Bibby; though it's felt they could always send him elsewhere like Memphis or Charlotte.

The Rockets would get Pau Gasol; the Hornets would get Lamar Odom, Goran Dragic and two Rockets draft picks. The Magic get Andrew Bynum, Luke Walton and two more Rockets draft picks.

UPDATE: Reliable sources now saying the Rockets are balking at giving up 4 draft picks. Stern is said to be disappointed; but has reworked the deal.

The Hornets will still get 2 picks from the Rockets; but the Magic will now get 2 from the Hornets and the Rockets get two from the Magic.

All parties appear to be very satisfied with this.

The L.A. Times' reports unauthorized Reliable Sources within the Clippers organization are "not saying" that the team is finalizing a deal to send Chris Kaman, Al-Farouq Aminu, Eric Bledsoe and Minnesota's 2012 first round draft pick to the Hormets for Chris Paul.

Kaman is in the final year of a contract paying him $12.7M this year; which Sources are (not) saying is very valuable and "good paper" to the Hornets.

It's further whispered that Eric Bledsoe is recovering from surgery to repair torn cartilage in his right knee; and the Clippers are pretty sure the Hornets don't know about it; so please keep it between us, don't say anything.

The deal still has to be submitted to Donald Sterling and David Stern who are both expected to reject it sometime Monday.
