i read on twitter that tc to ny in a sign and trade is a likely outcome. ny would either have to amnesty billups or trade him to a third team under the cap. would you consider taking him on and sending them matty c and whatever else it takes to go through for billups and a draft pick?

billups as a 1 year expiring veteran point guard to teach both dj and kemba about playing the point. not putting as much pressure on kemba and giving us a hell of an expiring or veteran pg for trading to contender in this insanely packed season.

i made the same point Swedd in the DJ trade thread. Was thinking matty, dj for billups, landry and a 1st maybe. But i also read that about Billups. His agent has said, bidder be wary. He does not just want to play anywhere

fine but he really doesn't have a choice about getting traded and the absolute worst case scenario would be losing a year off matty's contract and picking up a draft pick.

i would bet that if jordan met with him and promised him a mid season trade to a contender of his choice (that would work salary wise) that was willing to take him, he would play nice for half a season.
