"If guys come in here not focused on a championship, just making the playoffs, we need to trade them. We need to be talking about a championship and nothing else. You can't limit yourself to just playoffs. Who wants to do that? Playoffs is not really an achievement to me. Anybody can get to the playoffs." - Stephen Jackson as a Milwaukee Buck

I think Stack Jack is right on the mark...he is talking about being the NBA Champion for the state of Wisconsin ...Right?

Anybody can get to the playoffs? Does that include the 2010-2011 Charlotte Bobcats led by Mr. Jackson...oh, wait.

Hey....let's not knock him too much. He actually has a pretty good team over there. And I like his attitude. Get on his mindset or GTFO.

Him and Jennings will be an interesting duo.

I like Jack, but he should know better than anyone that not everyone can go to the playoffs. And him and Jennings is going to suck for the other guys on the floor. Bogut might average 5 points a game, all off the offensive glass.

He has start talking about contract extension and has not been coming to practice because of back spasms.

It'll be interesting to see how SJAX is greeted at the home opener against Milwaukee at the Cable Box. I wouldn't be surprised if he shoots 10 for 30 from the field and ends up with about 25 points for the game.

I think he'll get warm reception. He's arguably the second best player in Bobcats history (not sayin much) and was a big catalyst for the 09-10 team with Crash.

Stephen Jackson Seeking Extension, Vows Not To Be A Distraction

Dec 23, 2011 10:14 AM EST
Stephen Jackson, whom the Bucks are hoping will be a key cog in their quest to return to the NBA playoffs, said he's putting his contract extension request on hold.

"I'm going to go ahead and let it die down," Jackson said. "Right now, I know it's not the time to talk about contracts or anything like that. It's about focusing on getting to the playoffs."

Jackson, 33, will be paid $9.2 million this season and $10 million next season. He reportedly wants a two- to three-year extension.

"This is probably the last time I'm going to address it," Jackson said about his contract situation. "We'll see how this plays out.It would be good to finish up here, I'll tell you that. I love it here.

"Like they say, ‘You play good, they pay good.'"
