From the Fox Sports Carolinas Facebook page:
Last night's Charlotte Bobcats game earned a 3.29 rating in Charlotte, peaking at 5.65 at 9:15 p.m. ET - the Bobcats' highest rating ever on FOX Sports Carolinas and SportSouth! Thanks to our awesome viewers!
And yet Charter still won't pick them up as we're forced to watch poker reruns and Les Miles "In His Own Words". SMH.

I was watching! Feel bad for some of the people that don't get the broadcast though. I think I read where it doesn't show outside of a 30 mile radius to Charlotte. Is that true?

I am actually thinking of getting the NBA League Pass package, the Bobcats coverage is so good compared to the Nets & Knicks coverage here in NY!

I don't get it in Chapel Hill EVER on DTV. I'm actually visiting family right now in Fayetteville and they have DTV as well and a different version of FSS/FSC, yet, I still can't get the broadcast here. They even have league pass and I can't get the game on any feed - it was blacked out from every source.
Was stuck with more sh*tty feeds that froze for up to 30 seconds at a time.
This really is becoming unbearable (as if it wasn't already). I just don't understand what's so different now compared to the coverage we got when we had the Hornets. I got Hornets games on Fayetteville's only TV station (an over-the-air boradcast), but we can't get Bobcats games today in Chapel Hill or Fayetteville... not even on cable? They clearly just have no idea how bad they're hurting their own fan base and the future growth of it by continuing to neglect the TV situation.
smh over and over and over again. i think i am starting to sweat from all the shaking. nope, those are tears.

Someone knock some sense to whoever runs the TV staions in NC. Or they're probably on the anti-bobcats bandwagon cause of the Hornets (still)..... Its the only excuse I could think of that would make sense.
In Chapel Hill, I get every game and they are actually in HD this year as well. I have Time Warner though. My brother lives across the street and he has Dish Network and he sees zero of the games.
I have to say that I truly hate it for everyone that doesn't get to see the Bobcats but from a selfish perspective, I am very happy that I get to see them all and in HD to boot.

Charter doesn't show them and Dish at my parents house doesn't show them either. So, like Proudiddy, the only way I can watch them is via illegal Internet stream because both TV and broadband League Pass black out the games. It's literally impossible to watch them legally. Craziest thing I've ever seen. (http://www.bobcatsplanet.com/vb/member.php?799-Proudiddy)

Don't know if anybody knows this or not, but League pass is free right now. It's like that until some point in January.

3.29 people? So everyone I know who gets them on TV was watching!:thumbdown:

You guys should start a petition or something. Then again, i'm still waiting for NFLN on TWC...

Seems to be the only good comment I can make about Time Warner cable here in Winston-Salem - we get all theBobcats games in HD. I'm also still waiting for the NFL network on TWC. I think you guys need to start making calls and sending letters - if enough people shout maybe they will listen.

Well I'm still being blessed but I have no idea why. If there's anyone in the RDU area with DISH check to see if it's really blocked. I can't be such an anomaly.

It is blocked on Dtv and dish in Raleigh. Time Warner does show the games. It is beyond ridiculous. And no one at the bobcats or at Dtv seems to care.

my friend at work with dish was blacked out last night. he lives near briar creek. don't tell a soul spec. you are receiving a gift from god. you should tebow before every game.

Yea I had this ^^^ problem as well. Luckily on Dish I have many alternate HD channels and I can get the Bobcats on those. So I've watched the last four games for the first time since C-Set...... I'm joking. Quick question tho, the sports cast last night said to catch the next game on sportsouth sunday against the Heat again... Will they be on sportsouth tomorrow? What about the rest of the year?

NO offense to anyone who doesn't get games, but I can't think of a fan who deserves to see Bobcats ball on an actual tee vee more than spectre. Hope it keeps up, man.
I live 6 miles south of Winston-Salem proper, in northwest Davidson County, and have always had Bobcats basketball on TV whether the maligned CSET, News14, myTV, Fox networks, etc. Definitely well outside the 30 miles radius but I have TWC. It's all a mystery to me and always has been, but like WAM, I'm very very thankful I've never had an issue seeing the Cats play on the road or home games I don't go to.

i have been told by several "authorities" that it is a 75 mile radius for the "inner market". thus, anyone east of charlotte to greensboro gets all the cats games all the time. anyone outside of that radius is subject to the provider picking up the option or as i like to say are stuck in blackout hell.

At least with better ratings there's a chance more providers will choose to pick up bobcat games.

I just found out the TWC channel 522 here in Fayetteville will be showing the games FINALLY!! It was a 2 year fight to get them here.
I keep hearing about TWC channel 522 but I don't get it (I'm in Wilmington). Maybe its another channel number. What is the channel called?
