so there is a report that lewis is so unhappy in washington he refused to play after an argument with sam cassell an assistant coach.

would you consider

diaw and mags for rashard lewis and we get to swap picks unprotected (we both figure to be top 5) this year, same option next year top 5 protected or if ours is better we get two future 2nds.

I don't think Washington are going to want to give up their 1st round pick in this years STACKED draft, esepecially when they suck this much. Diaw and Maggette don't really help them at all either...

That deal doesn't help Washington so I don't see it getting done.

Also, do we really want to pay Lewis 23 million next year or Maggette 10 million?

i think lewis is only partially guaranteed something like 12 mil next year. so it does save washington money and they move a malcontent of which they have many. plus, they don't give up a draft pick they swap. we could even #1 protect it if they happen to win the lottery.

my next move...dj, lewis to la for walton, blake, filler, 9 mil tpe, mavs pick and an uprotected 2016 pick (year that pau, bynum and kobe expire)

We also cant deal our first since it's owed to Chicago

Rashard Lewis...seriously?
Unless we get a top 5 pick from Wizards, no way in hell would I want him (or his salary) anywhere near this team.

does a swap count as a trade or is it promising something that may not be ours that prevents it?

Since it's owed to Chicago sometime over the next few years, we aren't able to trade it until draft night when we know for certain if we have it or not.

If we were to take on Lewis' massive contract, then we would need for them to take on Diop and his contract.

If they took TT , Maggs in , Lewis out and the higher first goes to us... That is if its only 12 mil owed next season. We really going to have to move TTs massive contract some kind of way . With White and Mullens both out playing him??

TT in the Wizard's locker room would be like adding fertilizer to gasoline.
