This could be very controversial, would anyone ever think to merge Rufus on fire with Bobcats Planet.:o One fan website to rule them all? This was only a joke really... seeing how loyal we all are :biggrin: I am expecting some big story, like The guy who runs rufus on fire is actually Ziggys long lost evil twin.

Rufus on Fire is run by Ben Swanson aka CardboardGerald. Doubt he would want to do any kind of merger because he's in school or journalism and uses RoF as a platform I guess.

Yeah, and Ziggy has rejected all attempts at merging or selling BCP, which is to his credit. Better to have two fansites instead of one, also. And Ben does a tremendous job, let him keep it up.

I give much respect to what Ben had done over at ROF, but there is plenty of room for both of us to exist.

Check out the Lakers fan sites, or the Celtics. They probably have a dozen quality sites apiece.

from a more practical standpoint, sbnation would never allow something like that without me giving up control of the site.... Ain't happening. :biggrin:

i started posting here because i found ROF hard to navigate, read etc. i was a newbee to the online community sites of all kinds but i still find it a virtual clusterf***. so basically i lurked around for a few months before popping the ole cherry. i really like the people and conversations on here both in character and the general tone of the arguments. zig has built a great community site here.

i would be opposed to a merge (even if the idea had legs) primarily because of the chris paul/DUST chip fiasco of last year. the visiting posters from that site were too realgm'ish for me.

Not a fan at all of Doofus on Fire. Site is incredibly hard to navigate and follow and the people who post there aren't high on my list. I've been there twice and have not spent more than 5 minutes total on that site. I won't be back
