This is why Boris Diaw sucks, at least according to the guys from TNT. For those who may have already hit the sack, tonight on "Inside the NBA" they did a segment where they ask Charles to "weigh in" on a certain issue...

Tonight's issue? Boris Diaw has only shot 2 free throws. Count them... TWO FREE THROWS, ALL SEASON. Just to let it marinate, I repeat, Diaw has only shot 2 free throws in 11 games this season.

They asked Charles to address this issue after going through our highlights and Charles says "I'll tell you what wrong with Diaw, he needs to get on Weight Watchers with me."

Good stuff.

Back to the free throw issue, Charles says Boris is just a "nice guy." He doesn't have the desire or passion to play basketball and therefore, sometimes his talent still shows through but when combined with his lack of passion, he just ends up being very inconsistent.

Kenny then agrees with that and adds that they can clearly see Boris is not in shape. Kenny said the things that Boris has going for him is his ability to shoot and put the ball on the floor, drive, and create for others. But, because he is out of shape, he can't get past people like before so he gets stuck and has to toss it back out.

Shaq then adds his two-cents, and it was incredibly insightful and awesome. He said once when he was playing against Boris, he says he decided to go right at him or "right to his rack." Anyway, he says he went straight up to Boris and said, "Boris, you're playing soft." To which he said Boris replied, "That's what you think."

LOL.

Shaq said Charles was exactly right, he's just a nice guy... After finishing the story he says, "That's all Boris says to me, 'that's what you think.' No fight or nothing. Just 'that's what you think.'" Everyone in the studio and myself were cracking up.

I hope they post the video up, but there you have it... He's just a nice guy. At least "that's what you think."

After the way he has been playing, word around the league now could be that he is soft and his stock has definitely dropped. Cho will have to work some magic to get us some return. Diaw's expiring contract has more passion that he does.

Before when I wanted to package Diaw and DJ it was because I thought it would net us a solid package with Boris's expiring and decent play. Now I think we need to package Boris and DJ because its probably the only way anyone will take him off our hands

I still think we could ship Boris to a team that would want him to come off the bench. If I was a GM of a playoff team, Boris would be the perfect guy for the second team right now...his scoring and passing ability could really help a team that needs a sixth man. He, however, couldn't get us anything of real value other than maybe a shooting SG to come off the bench, which we do truly need.

Maybe we should ship him to the knicks, the reason, he seems motivated to play better against Amare and maybe D'Antoni. He had his best games so far against them. But there is no trade I can think of that would work or be good for us.
