This is exactly what's wrong with this country... We're slowly trending towards censorship and the elimination of due process... We are no longer the America that values the rights of its citizens, we only value the privilege of the rich. Why the fuck are they wasting our fucking money on this bullshit? What civil liberty valuing citizen (99.9% of us) would want this sh*t to pass? If it goes through, it's just further proof that these politicians are only interested in themselves, their pockets, and special interest groups, which is exactly why this country is so fucked up now.

If this sh*t passes, I may conisder packing up the family and moving to fucking Canada or Costa Rica... Because it's clear that "For the people, by the people" doesn't mean sh*t to these fucking money-hungry, blood-thirsty, self-serving pricks in politics. Nothing pisses me off more than having rights taken away that aren't causing physical (or any other harm) to anyone... It's all about that top 1% mad because someone found a loophole out of their system designed to keep their pockets full. Fucking garbage. /rant

Its fueled by media companies. They've tried acts like this before, and they failed or didn't work even when passed. Acts like this happen because media companies are putting money in politicians pockets.

This TED talk provides a great analysis of what SOPA and PIPA would do.
