He played really well. I just hope he continues to improve. It looks like the game is slowing down for him some... finally.

If I remember correctly this makes 3 trip-dubs in team history. SJax and Diaw, and now a rookie kicking /+\ SS and taking names

Like I said on the chat, Kemba Walker has more Triple doubles than both Chris Bosh and Kevin Durant combined !! Super star in the making.

Much prefer Kemba this game around, didn't chuck up so much junk and got teammates involved more.

He played an awesome game last night. 3rd triple double for our franchise, and the only one by a PG.
Amazing what a little structure can do.

Kemba just has a nose for a rebound great to see him explode like that, and is this the only triple double by a rookie this year?

Quite an impressive feat by Kemba last night. Things looked a lot different for him, like the game finally slowed down and something clicked for him. He's beginning to understand how to facilitate the offense while working his game in as well. He looked very much in control and hopefully he carries on with this.

i agree with you, the game was better paced by him yesterday and therefore he got more assists and he knocked down more shots.

He had an awesome dish on the fast break...when he had Brown on the left & Mully on the right. Kemba looked dead at Brown which made the defender bite, then threw a perfect no look to Mully for the slam.
It also helped that Boris was in and he gave a damn. Another positive was Derek Brown not being on the floor starting out; I've noticed he's a huge culprit in the "standing there watching the PG dribble the ball" category. Matt Carroll also moves more than Hendo and Mully's starting to expand his game.
Kemba's not going to do it all by himself...not with this group. I like his strides a lot tho.
I agree with you all.
That was a great example of the kind of impact he can make on a game and I hope we see more games like this in the future.
One thing I noticed last night was how well he and Boris were playing together with picks and passes and just generally playing off each other a lot. Mullens seemed to play well with them also, chemistry wise.
I know lots of people have been knocking Kemba lately and him not being a pass first type of guy but last night truly gives me hope that in a couple of years, when he is surrounded by much more talent with stronger chemistry and a more structured coaching philosophy, that he can be this type of player almost every game.

...which is what DJ does all the time too.
How much has DJ played with Boris not in the starting group this year?

Yes, Walker and Diaw linked up very well together which is why they had terrific nights. Hopefully Diaw can keep playing hard and the rewards will come
