well played Boris Diaw !
Thats what we need him to play like night in night out, i like the way he attacked the rim and got to the line 10 times. He his probably our best player when it comes to finishing in the paint and he showed that last night.
This is the type of player I expect him to be every night. The only word that can describe him is inconsistent. He clearly can play like this when he chooses to. The problem is, on any given night he can completely disappear. I hate players who have effort problems that keep them from reaching their true potential.
Sure would be nice to get this from him nightly though.

he his a beast when he's on form becasue he drives to the basket and he can post up on bigger centres. He got to the line alot yesterday which shows he was more aggressive and was willing to work harder.

He just needs to keep driving in and using his body, it took him to play the wizards a second time to realize his role

i thought it looked like someone or something pissed him off early in the game and he started beasting. i dunno though hard to tell On the telecast, after he passed out of a lay in on consecutive possessions early in the 1st qtr, I heard a voice yelling at him to shoot the ball when he's that close. Next time he touched the ball he drove it, got fouled, and the rest was history. I rewound the video several times, and it wasn't a teammate on the floor, and didn't sound like Silas....I think we have one of our courtside fans to thanks for this. Whatever it takes...

Maybe there were some extra French people in Charlotte last night.
(See his comments after the win in NY)

Booker was making a lot of asshole comments on the floor before he got T'ed up. He pissed Boris off.

The problem is, we've seen this show before. It's like catching another episode of the Fresh Prince, or Seinfeld - you've seen it before, and you already know what's going to happen next.
The coaches know the issue, the fans know it, Boris knows it - say what you want about his game, but he has all star "talent," he just doesn't care to get it. He likes basketball, but he doesn't love it, or have the passion for it like us. He was just lucky to be 6'8, and smart enough to realize he can make millions off of it.
If Boris was to retire today, it wouldn't be a tearful farewell, he'd probably just ride his Segway off, wave goodbye, and go on his next adventure. Silas, Larry Brown, and even Mr. Intimidation himself Oakley tried to inspire Diaw, and what was his response? "Sometimes I shoot the ball, sometimes I don't."
So he'll have his great games every now and then, but never should anyone expect more of the same, he doesn't really care for the game as much as us, and he's fine with that.
