There are a couple of interesting players out there that can be had. I read where Budinger is falling out of the lineup because of Parson's play. Maybe even Micheal Beasley from the Wolves as their announcers were so overwhelmed with Diaw's play maybe they might take a chance on him and Love in the frontcourt. Maybe even get Jamison from Cleveland ahead of free agency this summer.

I wouldn't hold my breath. I don't think we are at a point where a trade for anything but draft picks make sense. Especially on Jamison. Even if they want him, they would wait till free agency as he is practically begging Charlotte to sign him. No need to lose any assets.

Budinger would be a nice backup behind Mags. UPS isn't bad but he doesn't have the range like Bud. Jamison is going to be a wash as his contract expires just like Diaw's just at a more expensive price tag. Beasley's contract isn't up but the kid can score and we need scores.

Just to clarify it's not certain he walks away for nothing. He will be a RFA and we have the right to match any offer.

I'm guessing we don't do anything major, but I'd be curious if Minnesota would want to deal Wes Johnson. Athletic and rangy SF that is stil wicked young and I think would fit in well between Henderson and hopefully a draftee PF. I don't know what the Wolves are looking for, but maybe they're looking to deal Johnson to make room for D Williams.

All of our other bad contracts end next season so, if we can get rid of Tyrus, we could have an incredible amount of space next offseason (plus another likely top 5 pick,as we will suck next season too)

I think that the key is to get rid of Tyrus contract.

If we could trade DJ Augustin + Ty Thomas + Diop for Steve Blake and 2º round pick, it would be an achievement.

Dej is a good PG, yes, but Ty Thomas and Diop are horrible players with very high contracts.

sadly, we can't dump both Tyrus and Diop on the Lakers (unless you want to take back Luke Walton!), at this point getting rid of Tyrus' contract would be enough, but surely we could finagle a future second rounder?
