Sign AI and cut Higgins . It would put more butts in the seats . Get lots of national att. Makes MJ money . He may even help the team .

Thirded... but seriously I am all for anything that gets Cory Higgins off the floor. He plays so damn poor and is an absolute bore. I consider watching him play a chore. If he plays any more I may have to personally show him the damn door. I have never seen such an embarrassment before. (okay actually Diop but still)

It may help for more people in arena, but still it will cut some time from DJ, Kemba, Henderson, so I don't know...

when all three were healthy and playing big minutes, each one looked absolutely fatigued because of the compacted schedule. we could use an extra body, even if it is a washed up AI.

I won't cry about it if it happens (it wont), because I've always liked AI. But when you aren't trying to win what is the point of bringing him in? Ticket sales are already up so thats not really a big deal. And I think the media will just turn it negative and say how desperate we've gotten. Just seems like an unnecessary circus to invite ourselves too. Also this team needs a lot of practice, and we all know how AI feels about that.

If AI practicing could make his teammates better than i'd be all for it

Good grief, I think I'm in the twilight zone. It cant be flashbacks since I never dropped acid.

Should've kept Uzoh

But AI is washed up - even for us. And even though he'd bring a little more attention to the area, I have no interest in seeing my clear and obvious tank job turn into a sideshow with AI. He's Derek Fisher bad now.

Haha seriously I wish I had a dollar for every AI to charlotte thread started on this site. I would have more money than Iverson at this point.

Rather than bringing in Iverson, I'd rather rotate through a few d-leaguers. Who knows, maybe we could find someone lintastic.

Come on guys MJ could through AI a few bones . Hes broke and got no money. Put him in the team store signing autographs a hour be for the game . Hes worth milions if marketed right . He might have some real value if we end up moving DJ. Damn i close my eyes when Higgins comes into the game. Same with the Hammer thease days . It is a need thair.

We havent even seen AI play, hows he washed up? Only problem is where would he fit on the roster? I would love to give him a second chance in charlotte maybe so he can prove to the league he can still play then after the season let him walk to where ever he wants to go

IF AI could teach Kemba some tricks, I think it would be worth it.

The one thing I think we have to do this year is ingrain in our young guys a sense of hunger and building towards something: an established vision of being successful, even if we're not winning now. If AI can come in and be part of that, so be it. However, the last thing we need is a negative attitude with a bunch of young guys who are already frustrated.

If it wasn't for the way he crapped on Memphis and then Philly (where I felt sure he'd be able to "come back") I would be a lot more for bringing him in. I just don't think he can get past his glory days.

having all your shit repo'ed may be enough of a humbling experience to make you play nice as an off the bench vet just to keep the money coming in.

That's one of the ONLY things that makes me feel positive about possibly signing AI: he needs a team more than we need him.

+1 for the laugh, and I was thinking the same thing. I wouldn't be opposed to the idea but I'm not exactly in support either. If it means Higgins is out though I can't say I would be complaining.

Cory does not look so good since he was signed rather than going after Jeremy Lin. Now something else added the fact that he may have only been signed cuz of daddy. He needs to prove everyone wrong, that he deserves to be here.
