you are the gm you get the following two offers for the pick

from portland: #4 and #10 for #2, dj and their 2013 pick back (they can't give us #10 if we don't)

or

from NO: #3 and #12 for #2 and dj

or

just keep it and roll the dice with drummond, beal etc

I'd do that New Orleans trade in a heartbeat and I'd do the Portland one as well if their future pick we own isn't included (I imagine they could trade the #10 on draft night).

I think at this stage of rebuilding the more assets we acquire the better... DJ is good but will not be part of a championship contender team...

When do players have to declare for the draft? Aren't a few top 10 projected players thinking of staying in school??

Id do the NO trade...it would give us a chance to get MKG possibly and another lottery pick....when you are in our situation the more assests the better.....

I would take the NO deal. I have a feeling MKG would be there at #3, and he is who I would take at #2 after Davis anyway. So getting him and #12 is terrific.

I'd do the NO trade and take MKG or Beal and then pick up the best big man or PG left at 12 but I can't imagine NO doing that trade since they are in the same boat as us and that's alot to give up for DJA.
