This one sentence just ruined my entire day

The Bobcats willingly traded for DeSagana Diop in 2009 after signing a six-year, $32 million contract in July of 08.

It’s better to try and be horrible than to not try and be mediocre. That’s
why it’s easy to say the Bobcats are in a better position than the Wizards.
Their star player isn’t underperforming because he doesn’t exist. There’s
freedom in how low they are.

Amen to that

I stopped reading after he said we couldn't move DJ, Kemba, or Bismack.

quick questions. What did Jordan do to destory Kwame in pratice? I heard he was hard on him but was there anything in particular?

He said a lot of the same things my high school basketball would coach.

Kwame was just too soft to handle being berated. Not MJ's fault.

From what I understand much worse than what LB did to DJ. One of the terms Jordan supposedly used on Kwame was "flaming faggot"...as one example.

I'm sure it does wonders for a guy to have the greatest player of all time call you that in front of 12 or so grown men.

If we dont get the #1 pick this year, the bobcats are going to be in deep doo doo

i thought it was a mostly well-thought reflective piece. could certainly use some editing. it definitely treated our situation with more respect than 99% of what you'll get from national news sources. we have discussed at length pretty much all the issues he has brought up, which speaks to their validity as circles of hell we reside in as bobcats fans.

diop should always be the last circle though.

The breakdown of shooting percentages was so depressing....we HAVE to get some offense this offseason through the draft. Davis is cool at #1, but that second round pick better be for someone who can shoot the damn basketball

In agreement here. Very fair article, and I liked what he said at the end.

A very well written article. Finally someone in the national media who gets what the Bobcats are actually trying to do. Not just mindlessly bash Jordan.
