Guys...am I the only one who is sick of the movement to bring back the H**net's name? I started a little something I'd like to become THE NEW movement. Something greater than this City, or world for that matter, has ever seen.

I've grown tired of BringBacktheBuzz myself, but I'm not sure how a movement to stop a movement to stop a movement will work. I'm planning on writing a piece that will essentially slam BBtB's way of handling their "movement" but the only way they are every going to truly shut up is if the organization says they have no plans to change the name in the foreseeable future.

would love to read this. I think they are handling it poorly, like spoiled brats. I am all about Bobcats pride, but more so in this franchise than the name if that makes sense. Thats why I hated what they did friday night. Don't come in here cheering for a franchise that still exists! wear your purple and teal, make yourself know online, but don't come crashing our party being a dick about it.

In all honesty I want to see some kind of compromise like a name switch but still keeping Bobcat throwbacks for a percentage of games. Something like that would say hey we got our name and original franchise stolen from us and that name fits us better, but we still wanna show respect to Bob for starting this franchise.

I think the best compromise would be to make a new Hornets logo with Bobcats colors. Ultimately, it won't matter if we're named the Bobcats, Hornets, Fighting Chickens, Seal Clubbers, etc unless they win!!!! If you win, they will come.

There's no reason to "compromise". Either people accept us or they don't. If they want to root for Hornets, let em cheer for New Orleans! GO BOBCATS & COUGARS, F A HORNET!!!

i'm gonna cheer for the charlotte team no matter what (as i know all of you will). both sides have some points that make sense.

i am definitely all for a rebranding though. roll out a goofier looking logo (like the old cougars one), get some snazzy colors (we've all seen those awesome black jerseys some dude just randomly created), i'm thinking teal, black, and purple would be pretty hip (obviously everyone will have their own personal taste), stop making those shitty baseball caps and roll out some fucking snapbacks and starter jackets, get jordan to throw up some classy looking videos on youtube made by the dudes who make nike's commercials (kemba balling at rucker, biyombo hunting joseph kony) and watch how popular this team (or at least it's gear/image) would become.
