I don't know about you other guys who watch the Bobcats on Sportsouth, but I'm ready to smack that guy silly. He does have a cute girlfriend though....
Apart from repetitve commercials, what would YOU change about the Bobcats television experience??
Personally.....
I'd like to see play from more camera angles. Not just for the replays as it is now.
A lot of us grew up playing NBA Live and 2K. There are all sorts of camera angles to choose from. I can get a little bored watching play ONLY from halfcourt at mid height.
Perhaps someday they will employ the technology where we could push a button on the tv remote and choose from about 5 different angles. Wouldn't that be cool? (But not as cool as restoring a Norton Commando for a deceased father....)

Exactly. I was trying to be gentle.
(I never get sick of the girlfriend, though)

Man that commerical and the NC Lottery commercials make me want to shoot myself repeatedly till my ears can no longer hear and my eyes can no longer see
I really wish they'd have done more and gone the extra mile for the fans this year, knowing they were going to be historically terrible. Why not add some interesting camera angles, or do even more to make fans part of the experience? Why not have contests to allow people on court during warmups with the team, allow someone to run through the drills for layups, or something more to have fans feel more connected? Don't get me wrong, I think they are doing a pretty decent job, but when your product is probably the worst team in the HISTORY of the NBA, you've got to go the extra mile.

Season ticket holders have invited to take free throws on the court after certain games. They bring some kids groups on the court for warmups sometimes and let them enjoy that experience. There was a STH autograph signing after one of their practices.
Trust me, the Customer Service staff has been pretty good-that's one thing they have done very well in my opinion
at least you get to watch them on tv. i spend the better of the games playing whack-a-mole with pop ads of young russian girls wanting to be my facebook friend.
I will say, I have spoken to many Bobcats fans over the past year or so, many relocated from other parts of the country..and they all say how much fun the games are to go to regardless of the result on the court.
To further justify what people think of the bobcats' product extensions...in my Sports Marketing class last semester the Bobcats were brought up numerous times (as well as other teams) as having great customer service and product extensions and were considered a very high value entertainment option in Charlotte. The Bobcats have a pretty good reputation for everything but player personel moves. Hopefully Cho can put the player development and personel side on par with the anciallary goods the organization seems to do so well with.
Needless to say this made me proud of the Bcats.

At some point, that poor woman is going to realize he's not going to finish that bike. He's been working on it the whole season and hasn't really got anywhere. He brings home that same part several times per game. Unless she just likes the smell of motorcycle in the morning. In that case, she's got the right guy.
As far as the customer service, I've been a STH for several years and in my experience the organization goes above and beyond to make sure they take care of their customers. They're an excellent group and I'm glad they're here in Charlotte to take care of the fans here.

Why is it taking him so long to save up the money for the parts? Does he have a secret meth habit that eats up all of his paychecks?
I think hes a junkie.

Some of you guys make me wish I was a season ticket holder. I'm glad to hear they have worked hard to make it fun.
I never got sick of "It's like pop without the carbonation!"......

I hate that frigging commercial. Bad. Even the hot girlfriend can't turn it around.

This is probably the least annoying of the annoying ads I've endured through the time as a cats fan. Think back my friends "CPI security, what seems to be the problem!" even better is the Myrtle Beach commercial that starts off with the grandpa fishing with the kid...UGH! Oh and the lottery one where they are on the golf course and the monopoly one were rough too. I'm shocked they haven't tied more of the arena team sponsors to commercials, I wouldn't mind seeing a lowes commercial on occasion.

Those were bad too, but there is just something about this Norton Commando guy that makes me want to snap.

The Myrtle Beach one is of such poor quality, it sounds more like background noise to me. I wish they could have found better-looking people for that one.
I don't know. I'm with Ziggy. Something about that motorcycle mamma's boy rubs me the wrong way. Maybe it's the fact that he has an understanding hot girlfriend and that just seems very unrealistic based on my personal experiences....
I kinda like the powerball couple. I have a thing for midwestern accents....

Boom. You nailed it right there. He might be able to get away with a motorcycle in the living room for a little bit, but no way that woman actually hangs around for as long as this commercial implies. Their relationship is clearly strained...if you see the look on her face while they talk on the couch, she's obviously about two days away from having a "motorcycle or me" talk. Also, that's how often I've seen this silly thing...I can easily play amateur psychologist with two fictional people right off the top of my head.

If she's cute, young, and living in Charlotte, that's a given. Probably from some banker dude who may or may not be a douche......

Thanks. I see those two way more than I ever see my closest friends. Sad.....

Great thread that could only happen in the course of a 7 win season! I too have rage when I see/hear this moron talk about this Norton Commando and doing it for his goddam dad. And no, dude, there's nothing cool about that grainy photo of your stupid dad on that dirt bike. The girlfriend is cute and I like that she patronizes him and gets in her subtle jabs. I still prefer this commercial to any and all those lame ass Lotto commercials, especially the one back in March with the Irish fuck and his Minnesotean wife going on and on and on. I genuinely hated those people, whereas the Wells Fargo couple I can at least just roll my eyes at. The new Lotto one is slowly but surely working its way to the top with the stupid dancing and rhyming.
Regardless, what great disctractions.

what browser do you use? i have chrome and after i installed ad block plus (you can get it for free in the chrome store - https://chrome.google.com/webstore/category/popular?utm_source=chrome-ntp-icon ), the difference on a site like firstrowsports was night and day. i know firefox has a very similar add on as well. seriously, installing that was a massive upgrade. i cannot hype this enough.
