Okay sure, after tonight's "performance" I just don't see a reason for the Bobcats to even take the court from here on out. This is for sure now the worst ever team in NBA history. I know it gets better and I know what Cho and Jordan are doing right now but what makes me want to scream is reading the stupid crap people continually say.
For example
I mean really. The bobcats need a new owner, new coach, new name, new players, an expansion team in the nba so they can win a game, and they need gerald wallace, raymond felton, emeka okafor, and raja bell back. The Charloote Bobcats are now a joke thanks to Michael Jordan.
OMG JORDAN IS THE WORRRST OWNEA EVAHHHHH!!!!!
This franchise is a joke as a whole. The head coach doesn't even coach half the games, 17 game losing streak, awful name, clueless owner, and I could keep going.
Bring back the Hornets or leave. Please.
I understand people's frustration. I guess I'm just spoiled because I know how professional sports actually work and how the Bobcats have to actually get good (Not tooting my own horn but being here helps). I don't know I guess you can say this is just therapy but its getting me livid seeing all these people run their mouths while they have no idea what their talking about.

The average NBA fan's perception of the Bobcats infuriates me.
If I read something about our GM being Jordan, or DJ Augustine one more time, I might snap.

People are just clueless. It bugs the hell outta me but I've learned to just let it slide instead of getting into it with people. All of them will praise the team and MJ when we get a good player or two and some wins....it just takes time.
I'll just continue to support the team whether we are the Cats or Hornets, good or bad....eventually it will turn around and everyone will hop on the bandwagon. I'm sitting nicely in first class on the ride already.

If those things piss you off, I dare you to make a visit over to the RealGM General Board. Bobcats are trashed on a continuous basis

Come on man, you can't expect everybody to be on board with a tank. It's just not feasible. And yes while there is some discussion of our franchise that is exaggerated, there is also a bit of truth in there, just like anything else. We really have nobody to blame but ourselves for the situation.

I think the fans that are complaining are just tired of all the losing. We have had so many drafts, and we have yet to draft a franchise player. We have only 1 playoff appearance, and now we're tanking. It gets frustrating as a fan.

I Co-sign to this. Us REAL fans have to know that there is always a light at the end of the tunnel. The only factor is how long the tunnel is. So we got to just sit back and relax until we get there

Amen to that I hate reading their stupid comments "Jordans going to draft Fab Melo with the 1st pick" or "Anyone who the Bobcats pick will turn into a bust" I'm not as thick skinned as many around here and these things really annoy me.

I understand how u feel, but we're the worst team in the NBA. Period. The Cavs and Clipps fans went through the same BS. Then they got their superstars, started winning some games and became NBA darlings. It's part of the process. It sucks, but it is what it is.

I think the fact that any fan give up is stupid. However, I am worried that over this and next season we are going to be so bad, lose so many fans, be such a joke that the Franchise will never recover or we will be contracted due to the lack of fans, due to the lack of losses

all it takes is one young superstar then all of a sudden you are an "up and coming" team and a "league pass" favorite. the "fans" will come back. that is why i keep harping on the need to get a superstar and not draft "solid contributors" like mkg, sullinger, barnes or trob.

Two years removed from the playoffs, which we went to under Jordan.

Trob has Prime Larry Johnson potential IMO, but we need to stay far away from MKG and Sullinger

Remember this is a shortened season. Technically, if we win just 1 more game, we will avoid the worst season W/L %. So we would not be the worst NBA team of all time. Just 1 more Win.

For the fans, it is what it is. I'm much more annoyed at the myriad "journalists" who keep rehashing the same supposed insight about Jordan being the best player, but... wait for it... the worst executive ever. It's become the dick joke of NBA writers: got nothing else to say, point out he Jordan paradox.
It would be different if any of these clowns pointed out something new to justify the article or the criticism. The fact that we're approaching an historic low is a legitimate story, but why not look at what's going on with an analytical eye?
I'm just tired of crappy articles with people basically just picking on the Bobcats, or any team or athlete for that matter. I click these headlines to read something interesting, even if it's negative, about my team. Give me something.

It annoyed me when we were a low-end mediocre team (RE: the Larry years) and we were getting bashed and made fun of despite being competitive and being the Lakers regularly.
Since we're historically bad this year, I think the razzing is deserved. That just comes with the territory unfortunately.

which just shows their stupidity. he is doing the only thing he can, the universally accepted way to turn around a franchise. if anything this shows just how much of a competitor he is. he has to embrace the one thing he absolutely hates more than anything in the world, losing, in order to have a chance to be a successful franchise.

I dunno; seems like most of the reporters have tired of the MJ thing and moved on to the tank thing. They seem to respect that. Honestly it seems the team has gotten way more press by being historically bad than its ever gotten; and not all of its been condescending; by a wide margin.
A lot of them laugh at us a bit; but that's not necessarily bad.
