Let's use this thread to discuss the happenings in this years playoffs.

To get it started, what team are you looking forward to watching the most?

For me, I have a soft spot for the Grizzlies. They're from a small market, they've been terrible in the past and they were the butt of jokes years ago.

Yet they have drafted and dealt their way into a hell of a team.

Watching them should give is Bobcats fans hope

I think I'll go with OKC and Chicago. But I have a feeling the Spurs are going to the finals and if they do win, and Boris gets a title, I'll throw up.

Part of me wants to pick the Spurs to win it all but the other part of me thinks they will run out of gas somewhere along the way.

Here is my first round upset.

Denver Nuggets over the LA Lakers in 6.

Give me your first round upset.

well, derrick rose might be done and that knicks-heat game is gonna make everyone remember why they complain so much about officiating in the nba (knicks played absolutely horrible as well).

probably not the start everyone was hoping for.

Derrick Rose out with a torn ACL
Iman Shumpert out with a torn ACL

and that's just day 1 of the playoffs. :o

With Rose being hurt, it should practically roll out the red carpet for the Heat getting through the eastern conference and making it back to the finals.

^lol

OKC's sweep of Dallas once again proves that when a certain individual named "Vince Carter" is on your roster, any chance you had, be it slim or great, of getting to the finals goes bye-bye.

I had a nightmare last night that the Spurs won the championship and the finals MVP was none other than..... Boris Diaw.

No way that happens, even if he has a wide-open shot at MVP from 2 feet away, he'd pass it a triple-teamed teammate for an off-balanced 21 ft jumpshot (which would probably be Capt Jack):facepalm::facepalm::facepalm:

Ahem. Danny Granger took exception to that.

And any anger I'll have over Diaw getting a ring would be less than the happiness I'll have for Jack and Danny Green winning.

I'd be cool with Jack getting a ring. But I'm sure that I won't be able to stomach it if Boris' lazy, worthless ass gets one.

I'd prefer Boris not get rewarded that much for how he dogged it here, but as that great philosopher Forest Gump taught us, "Sh*t Happens."

On the Spurs...I don't know what's more surprising about that 24-point comeback; that they did it or that I was in no way, shape or form surprised that they did.

I hate Boris Diaw with a passion, but the damn old ass Celtics got lucky with Rondo hitting shots he never does. I found myself rooting for Philly, and I can't wait for Boston's demise over the next couple of years...

Here is some stuff I just added on twitter...amazing (since we don't have talent...we have role players):

@Teamship
7th yr in a row a former @bobcats will get a NBA Finals ring this year Hollins-BOS, Nazr-OKC, JHoward-MIA, Diaw & StackJack-SPURS

The prior 6yr include: Adam Morrison, Shannon Brown, Melvin Ely, Jason Kapono, Eddie House & Tyson Chandler #FormerBobcatNBAFinals Champs

And 8 years ago, the NBA Champion San Antonio roster included 3 future @bobcats Nazr, Linton Johnson and Sean Marks(yeah he never played)

Boris showed up in the last game of the Spurs season...25 minutes, 0-1 from the field, 5 rebounds, 3 turnovers, 4 fouls, zero points

Capt Jack was amazing...23 points on 7 FGA

Sad for Jack and Timmy that they won't have a chance at the chip, but wow. Durant, Westbrook, Harden, Ibaka, Fisher, Sefalosha, and Perkins went out and earned that, no doubt.
