View Full Version : Another logo thread??? ( this one is different)

Ok, everyone knows we changed the Bobcats logo a few years back from the side profile to the direct profile (which looks better)

Today it dawned on me that the NBA must have asked us to switch or had a hand in the design....

Don't these all look too similar? I would think the NBA would shy away from multiple team using the same basic design and just changing the mascot to match the team they are designing?

Twolves, Grizzlies, and Bobcats.... All animals, all direct frontal shots, all half face light colored to the left, all dark colored to the right.

It obviously inspired the logo for Charlotte's new Major League Lacrosse team, too.

whatever the reason, it's much better. The original logo is terrible.

Ha- Didn't realize the Hounds did it too.

Some marketing firm is making some big cash off of recycling the same idea...

I guess i'm in the minority here.I loved the side view one.I think the front facing one looks like a retarded wombat.Hopefully we'll be the hornets again soon and it won't matter! lol.

Anyone want to take a stab at the new Hornets logo if the same design firm gets the contract and has to design it? :)
