Assuming Jameer Nelson of Orlando opts out this year and tests free agency and assuming we let Augustin walk, do you think it would be a good idea to sign Nelson to a 4-year deal? Nelson would probably command $6-$7 million per year.

Honestly, I'd rather have DJ at that price than Jameer. But I think if we're going to sign any vet PGs then it'll be guys who know and are comfortable with a backup role.
6 or 7 is too much to pay regardless if Kemba is our guy.

To be honest, we kinda struggled with injuries last year. And then to get another injury prone guy who can barely stay on the court? Not interested.

No; we can do better than that! Agree he'd be too pricey too.
I like the speed of Barbosa, and he's 6'3" too. That fits Dunlap's scheme.

Barbosa can't play the point.
No to both.

I've seen Barbosa run the point for short stretches.

I've seen Barbosa run the point for short stretches.
We've seen Crash run it too.
All these combos "can" run the point in a pinch but they're not someone you'd want to depend on.
