What's the best trade for the second you've seen so far?

Also, which of these would you prefer:

Iguadola and 15?
Harden and 28?

I dont think OKC will trade Harden this early. They are gonna try and keep the big 3 together.

Harden/28 for 2/Henderson is the only one I've seen that I liked. Definitely agree there's debate on if OKC would do it but I think it's as fair as they'll ever get.

I dont like Harden, he might leave in FA next year so whats the point? It would be like Brooklyn giving their 6 pick up for GW who has just opted out. Worst move ever

No it wouldn't. Harden is on an ending rookie deal so he goes thru the RFA process. Crash opted out of an existing contract which made him a UFA.

So, we can match anything he's offered. What would be the worst that could happen? Max money on a three year deal and then he walks?

The worst would be that we tell him we'll give him the max, he refuses, plays the next season under the QO, gets to UFA and signs with another team.

He'd be leaving money on the table (plus the extra year) so IMO that's pretty unlikely. The next worst case is that he tells us that he won't sign a new contract and we S&T him to somewhere he would re-sign.

So long as we're willing to give him the max I don't think we'll have an issue. We have to be willing to do that going in though. After that first deal if we're not making strides then I can see yours ultimately being the worst case.

If didn't sign and trade him, he'd be a holdout for a season, correct?

Nah, it'd fall back to him playing for the QO. If he held out a season the next he'd be RFA again.

I don't know Harden, but from what I've read combined with him accepting the 6th man role on OKC with no complaints I don't see him being a little bitch about signing with us. I think so long as we're willing to give him the max he'd be here for the full length...5 years under the new CBA?

Iguodala is the kind of guy you bring in when you have a clear cut star, he's the guy that will hold the team together and although I think he is a great do it all player he's not the right fit at this stage in my opinion. If we could get both though somehow, say if Philly wanted a slary dump that would just be awesome. Although atm i'm definitely in favour of the Harden deal. And another thing Harden came into the league and instantly started winning due to KD hitting his stride. The guy has never been on a loosing team I don't know whether he'd like the shift, though he seems like a high charachter Cho guy, so i'm probably wrong.

Maybe I'm crazy (and undervaluing Hendo), but how does this sound:
#2 to Sac for # 5 &Tyreke Evans
Hendo to Chicago for this year's pick and the one we owe them for Tyrus Thomas.
Can't access trade machine at moment, so salary wise this might not work. We'd get a guaranteed scorer who needs teaching ("paging Dr. Dunlap") and get the remaining prospect of the Barnes/MKG/Beal/Robinson group (all would help, but I think MKG is left, maybe Barnes or ThoR if we're lucky). Kemba/Evans/MKG/Mullens/Bismack wouldn't be much for shooting, but could still score and play great D.

Trading Hendo clears space for us at SG, while getting us 2 first rounders (this years 29th, whatever our Future pick we traded away ends up being).

Logical? Or am I drunk as a result of depression after watching LBJ & the Heat win?

I like the idea of Evans and 5 for the 2, but is that plausible? I would assume Sac wouldn't include the 5 in a trade for Evans.

I'm luke warm about the Hendo trade. Getting the picks back would be nice, but I want one more year of Hendo, especially with a guy like Dunlap coming in.

Your right. People forget iguodala only averages like 14-16 PPG

No, you're manic. Hendo is going to net us two first round picks?

Keep the #2 Pick and choose b/w Harrison Barnes and Thomas Robinson! In my opinion they will both be multiple time All-Stars in their career.

He probably wouldn't, but remember that Chicago's pick is the end of the first round and our pick is protected for a few more years. It's not out of the question.
