With Maggette gone, who do you think will start day one at small forward?
Williams?
Brown?
Thomas?!
Draft pick or free agent?

If we trade with Cleveland and take Robinson at 4 I say Royce White or Qunicy Miller. If we take Barnes then Barnes.

Most likely a vet free agent signed to a reasonable/cheap contract like Antawn Jamison.
This team will need a vet starter if the line up is:
Kemba
Henderson
(Jamison)
Robinson

Our long term SF is probably not on the team yet, but I wouldn't be surprised if Thomas briefly started. Really depends on whether he goes in space cadet mode in the preseason or not. Dunlap may be the type of coaching voice he needs to learn the game and play more naturally.

Beasley?

Barnes or Jamison. Jamison can definitely play the 3 if we draft Robinson.

Day one, this season.
Lol, yeah I got you.
I think we draft Robinson and Reggie starts with a FA/ Brown backup
Unfortunately we'd be undersized at just about every position...

I hope that this is the scenario

If we do trade down and pick up 24 as well, royce white could probably start(although he is reported to have a promise @ 22 from boston),quincy miller would be a few years away from starting.I really hope we don't go after mkg or barnes! I wouldn't be surprised if williams and hendo started on the wings. The team was very high on williams when they signed him, and when he came back last year,i don't think he had all of his strength completely back, and never really blended with the team because of the shortened season.I could see him being much improved this year.I personally would love to make a run @ batum, and get quincy miller in the draft as well.Realistically,i see us probably drafting a guy like darius miller from kentucky in the 2nd round, who can be a good reserve. And possibly signing antawn jamison or wilson chandler to a 2 year deal,to be a stop gap measure until we draft someone else.

Whether we draft Barnes or Trob, I think we still sign Jamison. Draft Barnes Jamison plays PF draft TROB Jamison plays SF simple as that.

MKG or Barnes
This, it is pretty obvious at this point.

I honestly don't think Jamison is ready to come here yet. I think he'd like to get on a contender for a year or two first and quite frankly I wouldn't be surprised if despite all the talk if he never plays a minute for the Bobcats.
Right now I'd be guessing Henderson moves to SF, but wouldn't be surprised to see us (unfortunately) pass on Robinson for (Please Lord No) MKG or Harrison Barnes. ought of the two I like Barnes so much more, but I'd like to have Royce White at #24, though I think Boston could get him with one of their 2 consecutive picks

Why is mkg or barnes obvious?Henderson and williams can both play minutes @ the 3.Darius miller will definitely be sitting there @ 31.And i think jamison has wanted to be here his whole career. His family isn't getting any younger and he has always talked about wanting his mother to be able to come to his games in charlotte. Some players aren't just about chasing rings and money. And i think he would also like to set himself up to be part of this organization when he retires, which i've also heard him quoted talking about.Robinson needs to be the pick. And if we get 24 too,we need to nab melo or ezeli for back up center as well. There are always 2's and 3's in every draft with upside and promise.Quality bigs are hard as hell to get in the nba!

Can't say yet; I don't think we're done by a long shot.
My drathers is to draft TRob and sign Antawn. That would put a vet in the starting rotation (we need that) and allow us to bring a later pick along a little slower.

Our starting SF is not on the team yet. It will be MKG, Barnes or someone we acquire in a trade.

worst case scenario- UPS, Reggie, Hendo or TT
probable: Jamison, Barnes or MKG
my guess: be patient, Dr Cho is not done performing miracles yet.

it's probably gonna be the draft pick, but i won't be surprised if they start Hendo at 3.

I don't think cho is dumb enough to try to build a team around mkg or barnes. They are complementary pieces.I think it's gonna be robinson or beal that we draft and we'll get another sf in a secondary trade or slide hendo over.

I think that we are moving the advantage in our favor more each day. Whether we are able to trade down or not.
if we draft Beal at #2, slide Hendo to 3, with Williams, UPS (maybe) and 31st pick?
if we draft Robinson, he can play 3, or start Williams (maybe even TT or UPS) or maybe luck and get at starter at 31
if we draft Barnes or MKG, they can start
it is getting to be a no lose situation now. worst we can do, stay at 2 and use what we got

Even if we did draft MKG or Barnes it does not mean we are going to build round them. I dont think we will draft them thinking, this guy is going to be the face of our franchise. I think whoever we draft is another piece to the puzzle. I would actually quite like Barnes as a complementary piece, or MKG. Just think if we got a real franchise guy next year or the year after and we already had one of them on our team? Dangerous!!!

how about Jamison ?

We are going to be an uptempo, young team, it's not about the stereotypical 3 position. Assume we keep the #2 pick and select Robinson, don't over pay for DJ and let him walk and don't make any significant moves in Free Agency, our starting lineup could vary:
Kemba/Gordon/Hendo/Robinson/Biz
Kemba/Hendo/Robinson/Biz/Mully
Kemba/Hendo/???/Robinson/Biz ??? could be our #31 pick, TThomas if he's still around based off match-ups
The key is the 4 people listed are the starters....Gordon could be the SG if match allows Hendo to be the SF, but Gordon would be our poor man's version of Jason Terry or James Harden.

Robinson is not a 3.Period! And we're not gonna be able to start kemba and gordon together unless it's due to an injury. We'd be giving up way to much size. And the reason i say cho wouldn't be dumb enough to try and build a team around barnes or mkg,is because there are ALOT of people who think that robinson and beal have star potential and if you pass on those guys your basically saying that one of them will be too.And i don't think barnes or mkg are good enough to pass on 2 potential franchise altering players. If either one of them could get their own shot or take over a game, then maybe. But being an energy guy or having a nice standing still jumper doesn't warrant the 2 pick in a draft this good! Sorenson and bonnell had their online chat earlier and they were being asked about mkg and bonnell said "i've seen mkg's jumper and i've seen tom's.I like tom's better!" Lol.

i like Robinson and have done since i saw him early on playing for Kansas this past season, he brings alot to the table and would work well with kemba on pick and roll offense
