So I mentioned in the trade thread how Dallas/Clippers need someone to take Mo Williams 8.5M expiring contract so Clippers can get Odom...if we could get a first rounder with it, then why not? Gets us a veteran PG and a first rounder. If we then trade #2 to Cleveland for #4 & #24 we could be...
Kemba/Mo Williams/
Henderson/Gordon/Carroll
Royce White(or Quincy Miller)/Williams/UPS
T-Rob/Thomas/#31 Pick
Biyombo/Mullens/Diop
Or if T-Rob was selected we could go Harrison Barnes & Festus Ezeli or Fab Melo at #24, personally I like Ezeli just a tad bit more.
Kemba/Mo Williams
Henderson/Gordon/Carroll
Barnes/R. Williams/UPS
Biyombo/Thomas/
Ezeli/Mullins/Diop
However if stay put...
Kemba/FA PG
Gordon/(Jenkins or English #31)/Carroll
Henderson/R. Williams/UPS
T-Rob/Thomas/FA PF
Biyombo/Mullins/Diop

Biyombo is a center. And mullens was moved to the 4 last year. And i did see about the dallas/clippers thing. It's really only about 5.8 million they need absorbed.I would love to get dallas's pick @19(i think). However i'm not sure that's gonna get offered and both of those teams are good enough that we might need other considerations. And i think we have way too much uncertainty to even speculate about a depth chart right now.I do think we will trade with cleveland though, and i think they're gonna have to give us one of their second rounders as well. And i believe we will try to package the 2nd rounders and maybe take a contract to get back in the 1st.I actually think we might bring felton back really cheap.I think he thought the season was gonna be lost last year.He was in horrible shape. But if he get's back to form,i think he'll be great in an up tempo offense and wouldn't command very much @ this point. And i think jamison coming here is almost a done deal from his end unless we mess it up.So here's my guess.
Walker/Felton or Augustin, maybe if he just signs the offer sheet and then we trade him in february)/or Higgins?/ Or a homeless guy?
Henderson/Gordon/Williams/Caroll(Matt might be on the roster, but he better get his application for foot locker @ south park ready!
Jamison/Q. Miller/Brown
Robinson/Mullens/White or Thomas(i don't think both come back)
Biyombo/Ezeli or Melo/Diop

By Paul Silas. Dunlap could have a different take.
In my humble opinion, Biyombo is a 4/5. If he develops any sort of post moves, they will mostly be effective against 4's, and not against 5's. I understand he has center length, but I don't like the idea of him giving up 10-25 lbs. for a full 33 minutes a night, no matter how strong he is. It wears on a player.
I've argued for Mullens being a 4 in the past, but I think he needs continued experience at the 5 spot. He will not be able to chase stretch 4's around the perimeter for very long in his career. Those days are numbered. It will serve him well to get more experience defending the bigger centers and learning to toughen up.
They are really just interchangeable depending on the match ups.

I understand where your coming from, but biyombo is still putting on weight. He's already a big ball of muscle who held his own against howard twice last year,he has a 7'7 wingspan, which is insane, and he can't shoot yet.For the foreseeable future and he's a center. And i doubt many coaches would waste a 7'7 wingspan @ the 4 anyway. As for mullens, unless he develops a hustle and mean streak,he's gonna be used as a tall 4 who can come in,stretch the defense, and hit shots off the bench. He can't rebound,he can't block shots, and he's a pretty crappy defender period. If he stops hitting shots,he won't even see the court in a few years.I think both are locked into those positions right now because their skill set clearly dictates that's what they are right now. That could change @ some point, but i think it's fairly clear right now.
