as many as 9 1st round picks with medical red flags

I'm told that as many as nine 1st round prospects have medical red-flags that could impact their standing. Could be a rough night for some.

Didn't know what thread to put this in so thought I might as well start one. This plays into our hands really well! Looks like some prospects are going to drop down to 31. It would be great if we could get another early 30s pick, 33 from the cavs?

Also Draft express now has Quincy Miller dropping to us at 31 now! He must be one of the guys dropping!

Actually my dream scenario could be fairly attainable right now.Washinton,charlotte,and cleveland have all been posturing today about screwing each other out of beal.And alot of sites have suggested that @ the end of the day,the simplest solution is that washington gives us the 32 pick,we swap picks,and we both get our guys.This is the deal i want.If we got robinson @ 3,miller falls to 31,and we take machado @ 32,we are perfectly set up for the future.This would give us a legit young starter @ every position and still leave us in a perfect position to plug in shabazz muhammed if we luck out next year,because he can play either wing spot and so can hendo.It would allow us to go after 2 wish list guys in free agency in chris kaman and antawn jamison.We could sign each to 2 year deals with a 3rd year team option,which could turn into a player option if certain escalators are met.Jamison would be the perfect locker loom guy for a young team and he can play either foward spot,so he could help miller and robinson a ton.And kaman,even if he doesn't play all the time,is a fantastic post scorer,who would be great to teach biz and possibly even mullens.

Thanks bro! My dream job actually would be to be an nba scout.I think i like the strategy part of the nba almost as much as watching the games.That's why i love it more than college.It's like a billion dollar chess match. I entered the contest to go hang out with cho and have dinner @ the lottery.I was hoping some miracle would happen and i could meet him.I'm a big fan of his work.And if someone can find me cho's e-mail address i would love to pass this along! lol. But seriously,i am very interested to see what cho does.Because i truly believe that we have the cap room and the assets to field this exact team next year.

Only problem I see with this is that Kaman wants to go to a contender. If you want to join the organization I'm sure you could work your way up man, hell Spoelstra started as a video coordinator.

People assume that kaman wants to go to a contender.People like espn and hoopsworld throw his name out there like he is just going to go and play for 2 million dollars because lebron or durant are there.Kaman was an all-star center in the west less than than 3 years ago.He didn't play much the last season and a half because the clippers were trying to gauge deandre jordan and he was never the hornets guy.He per 40 min was still very good this year and he has good years left.I don't think for 1 second that he's gonna take a mid-level or half a mid-level to play anywhere @ this point.He still wants to play,he's not old yet,he wants to get paid market value,and we're one of the few teams that actually has a reason to do it.Not only that but bonnell said that jordan and cho were looking @ him around the trade deadline,but that they weren't going to pay a ransom to new orleans,when he was about to be a free agent.Translation-(we'll be calling you in july!) If we go after him,he's gonna listen. And that's all you can really ask.Every player wants to win,but he's not stupid!

You're welcome. I know these things are subjective, but I really like Machado's passing and think Miller's athleticism will improve over the next year or so of healing/rehabbing his knee. Both players serve a purpose for us, both in the short & medium term, and offer very good value. Also Gordon's ability to play some Point means I'm less inclined to hate having a rookie playing behind Kemba.
