Seems like Rod isn't as bad as many feel he is, interesting read, and it highlight who CBS thinks the elite starters, solid starters, etc are:

Here is the blurb on the Cats:

If they went back one more year and included Adam Morrison (worth a full negative 7.5 points), I think Higgins would be near the bottom (and yes I realize that Morrison was a Bernie/Jordan pick and not Higgins).

Look how bad Kahn has done even with all the positive points he got for Kevin Love.

Just goes to show the lingering impact of screwing up a top 5 pick...and/or the lingering impact of getting it right!

The line
Higgins has help from Rich Cho, who was hired as the GM last June. is humorous

Also he sent Dudley (the main pick on here that was strong) away in a trade where he seemed to have little value, so I would discount that some.

yeah, because all the GM does is pick the player in the draft... half these guys are getting points for players who never even played on their team or blossomed somewhere else, who they let go, as others have pointed out.

no evaluation of terrible trades or horrendous contracts given? not a very good piece in my opinion.

They thought it through, that's for sure, but the gap between D.J. and Tyreke Evans is way to big to get an accurate rating. Even all the examples given at "quality reserves" are better than both D.J. and Hendo.
