Enough said....Time will be the determining factor of if I am right or not. Come back to this in three years and lets discuss this.

While we are at it, how about the MJ is a idiot thread. I'm tired of people acting like spoiled brats when something does not go ur way. Cuz he did not pick who you wanted, now everyone is the idiot. Maybe he tried but other teams did not bite. Can't make them do what they don't want. Can't imagine him on the phone begging please make this trade with us cuz the guys at BCP are going to crucify me if I don't bring it home. While we were at it, he should have called NO and forced their hands for the #1 pick too. idk about some of these guys here.

here are the questions i would ask anyone with such a certain claim:

1. did you attend the workouts?
2. have you interviewed the draftees?
3. are you privy to the thoughts and plans of the front office regarding the direction of the team?
4. how many games did you or a close friend personally attend as a scout?

if the answer is no or none to those questions, you can not say that anyone involved in this process is an idiot. you can say you would have rather them pick someone else or you wish you could hear from management why they chose that player over player x of your choosing, but you can not say that they are an idiot. that implies they made the wrong decision despite an overwhelming amount of evidence to the contrary. we don't even know the facts that the decision was based upon.

Yes because anybody who goes from being a Boeing engineer to getting a law degree to helping build the most successful young franchise out there to becoming one of 30 NBA GMs without any college/NBA experience or ties must not be very smart.

I'm glad true Bobcats fans are standing up to the apathy thats surrounded this team the past year or so. Like Dunlap said last night, we're executing a plan and sticking it to it. You dont go from worst team to first team in one offseason in the NBA. Keep adding pieces Cho!

This may VERY WELL turn out to be a bad, or even terrible move. I don't think it will, but anything can happen.

But for fuck's sake, can we let them play a GODDAMN GAME? This is sports, this is our team, this is offseason before a year that can only get better. Can we be positive? Can we realize that anything we did in this draft was going to make us better than last season.

We are fans, its in our nature to care so much about a team that we micro-analyze things we actually know little to nothing about, because we read so many second and third hand oppinions on messageboards and news sites. But we need to step back, trust that we love this team for a reason besides it just being in Charlotte, and then just enjoy the anticipation of having a dark horse out of nowhere cinderella season!

Will this happen? I don't fucking know but I go in to every last season thinking this. My baseball team is the Orioles. For the last 15 years they have been awful. Who knows if they will make it to the playoffs finally this year. But they are right now in position to go, out of nowhere.

Have fun with sports. Don't throw around "idiot" and "stupid" and these melodramatics. Its rude and I know this is the internet, but think of great men that you wanted to be when you were a child. Did they whine and throw fits and call other men "idiot" having never met them?

I would have to disagree. Just in the past few days he has:
1) Basically stolen a 1st round draft pick as a result of becoming more fiscally repsonsible
2) Was close to fooling Cleveland into taking a pick at almost no loss to the team
3) Completely fooled the Wizards
4) Taken MKG who has been endorsed as the player with the 2nd highest upside in this draft
5) Taken one of the BPA in the second round, one that was considered a late first rounder

The only thing I has hesitations about was the possible trade with Cleveland. The thing is, if the Bobcats moved down to 4 then I doubt that MKG would be there. It is clear the guy they wanted was MKG since they took him 2nd. The Wizards were bluffing about trade interest for Thomas Robinson, and would have likely taken MKG.

You'd think the Charlotte sports fanbase would figure out that they don't actually know anything about sports after the whole Cam Newton thing.

That is how long it will take at least before this draft shows any promise. I guess on the positive side we will have a real good chance at the #1 pick for the next several seasons. I may have overreacted but I hate taking projects at this early stage in the draft. Offensively that is what we did with the first pick. The team needs more offense and BG is not enough to do that by himself.

Three years my ass. I'll bet you he'll be showing signs of why he was the BPA at #2 this next season.

Never Doubt the Cho.
