Both DJs and Derrick Brown need to be tendered in the next few days if we want the rights to match any offers. Their tender amounts are approx:
DJ Aug - 4.4 million
DJ White - 3.0 million
D. Brown - 1.1 million
Even if we are 95% sure DJ Aug is going to leave to another team this summer. I think we still need to give us some kind of protection and tender him.
Derrick Brown is a given. 8 points a game with steady improvement and a cheap tender (although I hope we offer him a 2-3 year extension instead).
DJ White I am torn on. He can show up at times but he has his warts. 3 million is a lot for what he gives and I think most of us would rather have a solid vet there like Jamison. I say let him walk without a tender.
Rick Bonnell seems to think Derrick Brown won't be resigned now that we have MKG and Taylor. I would resign him, for depth anyway.
We have to at least attempt to go after Augustin. Tender him, but when the offers get to high we'll have to let him go. Not doing anything would be foolish though.
If we swapped Brown and White's tenders I would say yes, but its likely we'll be bringing in another big or two via free agency, so I want that money going towards that.

I think you let Augustin go, but unless we have a FA/trade PG locked in, we will match anything 6.5M and lower (because we have nobody after Kemba-except BG, but his value to us on offense is spotting up for 3's not running the offense). Maybe Dunlap will be unconventional and just play BG and Hendo at the guard spots when Kemba is out and put the ball in MKG's hands (which will force the tempo).
DJ White-nice guy, but he's less of a good fit in the transition/up-tempo offense (that $3M goes to make Jamison happy)
D. Brown-for the price you keep him and he's an asset, he played the PF slot for us in the past, and best part of his game is transition, which we should have more of this season with Dunlap and MKG. If our draft picks mature, UPS is moved during the season to a playoff team.

I think we can easily get a replacement for Augustin at or below his QO so I'm somewhat torn. I don't think he wants to be here and his attitude at the end of last season is sticking with me. Kemba needs to be leading this team now...so if we don't tender an offer I won't be upset.
DJ White...hell no. He's nothing like what we're trying to establish in regards to culture. Cya, don't let the door hit you in the ass.
I like Brown a lot but I think Bonnell has a point. IMO it could go either way.

Only one I can see is possibly Derrick. I think our DJ'ing days are definitely over, lol.

Augustin already has one foot out the door.

DJ's will both get tendered due to our lack of depth at position, I'd like to bring UPS back for his energy and chance to play PF in small ball, but I don't he's coming back unless he takes a 12th or 13th man role
