MKG vs TRob.
The discussion after this game will be amazing. Be part of it as it happens.

Kemba: "It counts. We were playing. As far as I'm concerned the streak is over at23."

In a word: fantastic! And for what we've endured the last year and a half and the lumps we'll take going forward, I don't feel I'm overreacting at all. That was just pure fun and I could kick myself for not saving it on the DVR.
Only negatives to take away from the game: Kemba's shot is as bad as ever, and MKG scared me with the knee "thing" in the 1st. Otherwise, everything was amazing! Biz? 4-4 from the stripe, laying the wood on a boxout on TRob, post moves, etc. JT? Dude is a starter in the making...reminds me of an athletic Raja Bell. Kings will be waking up with the night terrors of JT stuck to them like glue. What a pickup at 31! MKG? As advertised. Clapping his hands on defense in the opening minute of the game; finishing at the rim; drilling his three; everything. Kemba? Looked good running the 1, finishing, not forcing it. Mullens? Assertive and aggressive as hell.
Absolutely loved it!

Very nice to see Taylor play so well and obviously MKG! The left leg thing with MKG scared the crap out of me personally. Kemba did struggle with his shot some and Biz still played out of control some but I HOPE they'll push through and develop like we need them to so badly. Kemba was attacking the basket though which is what he does best and will need to do. I know Biz's offense is just a hopeful wish at this point but would be great to see him learn considering he's still so young.
Was it just me or did Kemba and Biz both look like they have gotten slimmer/lost weight? Maybe its all the running or the fast pace of our new schemes but I hope they get stronger instead of losing weight (particularly Biz if he's gonna play 5). Was interesting to hear the announcers debating whether Kemba or Sessions would be our starting point guard... hope that doesn't become a distraction or problem for us.
We're gonna need to attempt to temper expectations although we deserve to feel good damn it. We have to hope to continue to progress and keep our guys healthy. That means much more to me right now than any of the free-agent madness this off-season.

Looked the exact opposite to me. Kemba has been doing some military presses and Bismack has added some beef

Fantastic effort and outcome last night. I love the culture that Dunlap is building here. They will be agressive at all points and will give full effort--which is a sight for sore eyes after the lackluster effort that was displayed (and allowed by the previous coaching staff) by some in the last half of last year. Seeing a clear, consice plan on display is also refreshing. I don't want to get too carried away for one Summer League game, but I love the "Big Picture" stuff I'm hearing and seeing. Step one in this process is changing the culture, and I think that process is well underway and doing well. I'm excited to see it play out fully.
