Tonight he's 8/13 shooting for 19 points, 10 assists, 4 rebounds, and 2 steals with only 2 turnovers playing 80% of the game. Looks like a very nice Tony Parker-esque line.
Obviously, you'd like to have some three point shooting, but is this a model game for what he should be doing this season?

No one should want him shooting 3's (right now atleast)
He should break down the defense and look to score or dish off for open looks for his teammates on every possession.
Great game from Kemba no doubt

Should have rephrased that: obviously, you'd like if he was a three point threat.

Loving kemba's play. Think he will have a breakout tear this year. Also people underestimate kemba's reboundi ability.

The only thing stopping Kemba is Kemba.
This man has one of the tightest handles I have seen and is super quick.
There is no one that can keep Kemba in front of them.
Dunlap needs to have Kemba working on attacking the lane religiously.

Great game for kemba...anyone else get annoyed by reggie miller?....."kemba walker is not a lead guard"....even tho he leads the SL in assists and just dropped 10...by no means is he a true pg but hes definately becoming a better pg now that dunlap is letting him play his own game....and miller is so dumb he said sessions, gordon and haywood should start over kemba hendo and biz,....smh

Reggie Miller has no clue on what our plan is, at all. Don't even let that stuff bother you man, I've quit even caring about the national media when it comes to any of our Charlotte teams.

There was one play at the end where I said in my head "Kemba finally gets it". He got an offensive rebound, had an open three but understood that there was only 45 seconds left. He didn't take the 3, dribbled to the top of the key, used some game time up and then found Hunter I think going back door with a beautiful bounce pass. That play was smexylicious
But overall Kemba looked great tonight, stopped forcing jump shots, got in the lane time and time again and found the open man or finished with a floater.

I had heard from Bonnell and a few connected with the 'Cats that Kemba looked like a different player thus far versus last year, and it's starting to show. I know it's only SL and we'll see once he is up against true vets and roster players, but I think he is going to settle in just fine as our PG. As for Reggie Miller, Rick Mahorn and the rest of the commentators, they don't know d*ck about our team, thus they are commentating SL games. I've heard several of them say that we need to start Sessions over Walker and Haywood over Biyombo, and that Kemba is 5'10", etc. It's annoying and getting silly to the point of watching the games with the TV muted and music on in the background. SMH.

Great confidence building game. Let's work off of it.

Kemba is a true point guard. That is all.

I'm glad to see that there's an offense put in place to utilize Kemba's skills. When I first saw him in scrimmages/preseason last year, I was sure of one thing...that he was lighting quick and could live at the foul line. However, there wasn't really an offense in place for him to take advantage of this skill. With what Dunlap has brought in, he's making the best of the speed Kemba has to offer. It really fits him and this summer league run shows that. Of course he needs to work on his jumper and things will be different when the regular season rolls around, but I think we'll be treated to a steady dose of Kemba breaking into the lane and finding someone or looking to finish the play himself. I'm excited to see what he can do with the keys to this offense.

It definitely helps to have guys like Mullens and Taylor around that can spread the D. Penetrating's hard to do when the crowds the lane.

I love Reggie, absolutely love the guy in the most heterosexual way possible, but yeah, he has no clue about what's going on here. Advocating Sessions and Gordo as the starting backcourt?!?! Reggie, you're better than that.
OT: Ding dong, the "combo guard" label is dead!
