I think DJ will light us up in that home opener.

Here it is in handy dandy calender view (http://i.cdn.turner.com/nba/nba/.element/media/2.0/teamsites/bobcats/2012-13-Bobcats-Schedule.pdf). The Laker game is on a Friday which is nice. We also get one of the two Heat games on a Friday. We get the Knicks at home twice, which is nice for New York transplants like me (although both are work/school nights). Only two games on national TV: against San Antonio & New Orleans (although surprisingly NOT the first Anthony Davis/MKG showdown, but the second). Just out of curiosity, what are some of the more popular opponents? I'm going to try to attend as many games as possible, but I might end up selling some of my season tickets to bring the overall expense down.

Same here, My B-day weekend is Nov 16. Bobcats play Memphis at home on the 17th and the Panthers play the Bucs on the 18th.
I was hoping for a Saturday game in ATL, so I could have an excuse to go down there. I had a ball the last time I went, I witnessed this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RIsUVFXRIls

I have a friend who may be in Charlotte over Veterans Day weekend. How much do you guys think a ticket would cost for the 11/10 game against the Mavericks if he went on stub hub or something?
Only reason I ask is because I live in CT so have never checked into prices too much. Thanks.

Unless you're trying to get tickets to a marquee game, you can get face value and sometimes under right outside of the arena, depending on where you want to sit. The Mavericks next year I'm guessing wouldn't be a marquee game, so just wait until right before tipoff and you should get a good deal.

I've been going faithfully to games the last 4 years. Traditionally the more popular opponents have been: Boston, LA Lakers, Miami, New York, and Golden State because of Stephen Curry.
I would expect the LA Clippers and OKC Thunder to become new hot ones along with Brooklyn possibly. For some reason Chicago has never been a real huge one despite their recent success. I've usually sold my Boston tickets with no problem, but I've always gone to the other ones.

Good info! Thanks. I'll probably want to keep the Knicks & Celtics tix for myself, but I wouldn't be averse to selling the Warriors, Clippers, or Heat games that are on Mondays & Wednesdays. The Friday Lakers, Heat, & OKC games are mine all mine though!
Best of all, no conflicts with any of the Monday Night Football games I would want to watch!

Glad I got my $2 a game season tix this year haha. Heat the day after Christmas will be fun. Looking forward to Clips, Lakers, and Wolves games as well.

Nice! Was bummed that I found out about that promo the day AFTER it sold out. Still pretty happy with the "buy this season, get next season free" promo though. Worked out to $6.28/game, but I won't have to worry about tix again until 2014. Didn't even realize Heat was day after Christmas! I just saw "Wednesday" on the schedule. Awesome that we get them the day after Christmas and again on a Friday. Also, didn't realize Lakers did not play @ Charlotte at all last season (thanks Rick Bonnell tweet!). All in all, very good schedule for Bobcats fans this year!
See you at the games! What section are you in?

The $2 deal was awesome for most people, but with my job I use the ticket trade function a lot, and it wasn't available with the $2 plan, so the buy one get one plan was perfect for me. I didn't lose any season ticket holder advantages, and moved back 12 rows for a much cheaper cost. The way I look at it, I earned this sitting through to the bitter end last year lol.
The schedule makers definitely paid the Bobcats back this year, getting the Heat after Christmas is almost set up for an upset type of game. Getting Miami, OKC, and the Lakers on a Friday is huge.
