I've seen a few commercials for this thing and think it sounds pretty cool. What's the concept behind this series? Is it similar to that Mercenaries series (that I never played) from a few years back?

Arggh. The first one was just so fucking boring playing solo but really fun playing co-op but only with actual people that you know, not randoms who you may happen to get thrown into a game with or thrown into your game. Reading up, it looks they've improved on the first in every way but I'm already committed to getting Dead or Alive 5 next week and Resident Evil 6 the week after. Going to try to hold out for a game of the year edition with all the inevitable DLC packs next year, and lord knows I have plenty to play right now, but temptation may get the best of me since I do have a $50 gift card at ToysRus.

Y'all who are getting the game, leave some feedback about what you think once you've started the game, por favor.

I'm just 1 hour in, but this is definitely the Borderlands that I have been missing for the past year!
