So with Dwight leaving the east for west and Orlando getting nothing but a slightly better version of Henderson in the form of Arron Afflalo plus unproven players, we cant be the worst team on paper now.

Anyone else think Orlando just gave up with Howard and decided to tank...

Yup ORL worst team in the league. I give them 10-15 wins next year

Blasphemy! Although Afflalo has shown like Hendo to have improved every year.

As much as I wanted the Howard drama to end, I hate it for Orlando on their return. They gave up the best player in the deal and got the worst return, IMO. I know their intentions were to add youth and draft picks, but their fans should be pissed this morning. Maybe we end up 1-2 again in the draft and can have another link to each other like Howard-Okafor. It's funny how one of the knocks on Howard coming out was because of his potential to bolt a small-town market once he had the ability to. He's immature and I hope he doesn't get a ring out there, though they are stacked now. On a side note, what was the point of a lockout.... the rich are still getting richer and the small markets are still playing the role of David versus Goliath.

If you include what ATL did this offseason, the Heat may win the division by 20+ games this year.

Orlando would have been better served taking the Brooklyn offer or the Houston offer. This deal stinks for them.

I think Afflalo is just slightly better than Hendo his numbers prove it plus he can shoot the three.

Think he suffered in Denver when Melo was around as he was the focal point and then they got loads of players in return for Melo and not sure he thrived in that environment. He will do well in Orlando... even tho they will suck!

we currently are better than the wizards. wow afflalo is nothing like henderson . afflalo is a spot-up shooter who cannot create, doesn't drive,no transition ,nor is athletic as henderson. afflalo is more in a jared dudley, matt barnes,or advanced deshaun stevenson type mold.also i think we may be better than the hawks .

No way we are better than Washington.

Atlanta still has 2 all-star caliber players in Horford and Smith... not better than them either.

Orlando on the other hand is going to be turrible.

Better than Washington and Atlanta

atlanta doesn't even have an quality starting sg or sf. lou williams is a 6th man specialist , stevenson looks like he is 230 pounds ,morrow is a bench player ,korver a bench player. i don't even know who their starting sf is. horford was only a all-star due to an nba shortage in big man ,so he made it by putting up average numbers(not all-star numbers)something like jamaal magliore.

washington has a rookie sg and most guards start their rookie seasons shooting in high 30's or low 40's. ariza just sucks. nene may be starting at power but if anybody seen him play , he plays like a 6'11 and 260 pound small-forward because he doesn't get you rebounds or play d(he will get you steals though).okeafor is an average center at best, i think him and haywood have the exact skill set on offense and defense but we happen to get haywood at 1/4 the price and 2 inches taller.oh yeah our bench is better than both of theirs hands down.

By the way, last year's Magic without Howard was still better than we were last year. We've both added some players, so who knows, but it's not like they'll be WOAT status.

Orlando will absolutely horrible next season. its one thing to put together a few scrappy performances with your superstar out while having a good season and another to be totally deflated from the start of the season knowing you have nothing to play for and everyone in the world knowing you suck.

they wont be as bad as we were this season but theyll be competing for their 3rd first overall pick. wish we had half their draft luck

Not to prove you wrong or anything, but because of my undying adoration of Hendo, I want to compare the two. But yes, Orlando will be the first team to win the lottery 4 times. They just built a new arena, Stern will help them out.

I like per 36 minutes because you can look at it basically per minute on the floor, takes away guys who didn't get much PT, just like Hendo getting shafted by LB.

Magic have Nelson, Afflalo, Harkless, Davis, Harrington, Nicholson(very impressive rookie), Reddick, Q.Richardson, McRoberts, O'Quinn, Turkoglu..i think they will be better than the Bobcats by season start. They have decent, attractive pieces to offer a team and can still construct a decent team.

Also, Cats are not better than the Wizards..not at all

So the stats you threw at me state he has more rebounds and steals....... Ok wow! He's shooting % in all three areas suck compared to Afflalo.. Hendo is meant to be our best shooter come on bro... Rebounds means jack for an sg specially when it's only 3/4! And one steal not game changing stats! Hendo was our first option Afflalo was always like 3rd choice maybe 4th! You'll see when he gets given a chance in Orlando!

I love Hendo but I'd have Afflalo as he is a better shooter and lined up next to MKG a much better option

I love it. We've been Orlando's bitches for so so fucking long, they are my most despised team in the league and I love they got hosed in this trade, and love they've set themselves back 5-8 years. Fuck 'em!

As for worst team in division, still gotta think it's us, but the pack is definitely sliding back while we're moving up. And yeah, put Miami down for 16 wins right off the bat based on division opponents.

Like I said, not trying to prove anything, I just like Hendo so much I want to see if he's better. I mean he's trending better all around, but all around mediocre might be as good as really good at one thing and not that great at everything else. No argument, but I wanted to see so I thought I'd share. I like Affalo a lot too. If I'm doing an entire league ranking, they might be within like 3 spots of each other.

It's going to be us and Orlando down there battling it out for last like we used to with ATL in our early years. I don't think ATL or WASH makes the playoffs, but they're still both better than us no doubt.

Rather than focusing on who the worst team is, I'm more interested in having another team we are close to in terms of talent and therefore ought to be able to have some tight battles with.

This season one of my points of focus will be on how close the games are, rather than the number of losses. I don't mind us loosing a chunk of games (which is just as well) but I will be pissed if we don't compete hard and push 'better' teams close.

Welllp, I guess we won't win the lottery again. How bout next time we go tank mode we trade everything for a superstar then let him leave in free agency or whine like a bitch till we trade him. Thats the key to winning the stern lottery.

Or sell our franchise to the NBA, it's super effective.

Afflalo is going to suck in Orlando. Dude may be a better defender than Hedo - a better shooter too, but he can't create his own offense at all. He's reallllllly going to miss Lawson and Miller setting him up. He's gonna have issues being a priority for opposing defenses now too.
