I'm actually shocked no one has posted anything about this game yet.

Since this game's lead character is half Native American and it's set during America's first real war, I can't wait to play this game. I'm not a fan of Desmond or the other story. But this game looks like it's going to be alot of fun.
Side Note: I just wanted to say my uncle John looks like the Redskins mascot with grey hair.

I played the very first one, got bored with it after the 8th or so quest of doing the same exact thing and haven't played it (or any sequels) since.
Is it worth giving it another shot, or is it going to be endless "go track down the leader/bad guy, sneak in, assassinate" over and over again?

This game looks pretty amazing for sure. That'll probably be the next new game I buy.
I have 1 and 2 on the shelf and haven't played them. I tend to stick with titles until I'm completely worn on them and then go to the next one.

I know what you mean about getting bored with this franchise. The 1st one I played was AC:Brotherhood. It was awesome at first then it just seemed way to easy. Block Block Counter Kill, rinse and repeat. AC 3 is suppose to have a new fighting engine and it's not a kill from the shadows type of game. I've read your fighting style now goes along with the overall game, more aggressive not so much sneaking and hiding. Plus it's open world, you can hunt animals like Red Dead Redemption. Probably no jackalopes though.
