Boozer/Cha #1 for Tyrus/Gana

Boozer makes 15m, 16.3m, 16.8m

The difference between the salaries that we'd be taking on over 3 years is 13.6m. To put that in perspective we took on around 14.7 million (over 2 years) to get the DET pick.

Chicago does it for the space.

I don't like Boozer but he can score in the paint. It would dip into our space next season (and the next, but he'd then be a big ass expiring), but we'd still have money to make moves...somewhere between 10-15 million available.

I wouldn't do it

I think it would make the team better too fast. We need one more really bad season so that we can add more high lottery talent to the roster.

This is my biggest concern too. What goes against that however is the FO's "interest" in some of the bigger known PFs like Hump (which I honestly didn't care for).

I have to admit that pick being in Chicago's hands really bugs the hell out of me. I want it back.

nope. for the reason zig posted. now if boozer goes out for the season with a benign injury like a wrist or hamstring around the deadline, i would consider it just to get our pick back.
