Surprised there hasn't been a thread made about this already! Best game out!

Who will be purchasing this come Tuesday? Me personally i'm going to the midnight release with a couple of friends. Can't wait to play with my Bobcats in a online association with some friends! Anyone as excited as me?

I've been playing 2k for years. Love them all. I downloaded the demo yesterday and it's cool. I have mixed feelings about the new controls (ps3). I don't like having to press L2 in order to shoot with the shot stick. Also the dribble controls are on the right stick. They should've stopped changing the controls with 2k11. That was perfect.

Didn't like it much right out the gate either. Just keep playing the demo and you'll get used to it. You will eventually forget how to use the controls from years past. Game looks so realistic, we're in for a real treat this year!

Just picked it up, presentation ids pretty nice so far but almost over the top. The controls are alot simpler but require a bit of a learning curve if your used to past editions. Not too bad so far.

Watching a clip on YouTube, they don't have Kimba's or Gerald's numbers right, and the court doesn't look like the practice court. I wonder if that will change?

just bought it and started playing. Jeff Taylor isn't on our roster....weird?? Ben Gordan is the end all answer if you need a 3 even a bad release hits seemingly 50% of the time. Every time anyone plays as the bobcats in this game you will be reminded about our .106 win percentage and losing 23 straight to end the season.....

once I figured out how to use MKG he is a monster....cut him to the basket offball get him under the hoop and he goes up strong and a beast on the break. his jumper is totally useless though lol

hes alright..bout the same as 2k12 if you have that. shotblocking is a little better in 2k13 so it makes him a bit more useful. his bad hands arent really represented in the game so hes great for catch and dunk in the paint.

his player model still kinda sucks though i wish they had worked on it a bit but they didnt. MKGs on the other hand looks perfect

i played as the Celtics for 5 seasons on NBA 2k12, they were beasts !

But yeah, you're right about MKG: Dude is nasty! My first game with the Cats he goes 30, 9, 5, 2 stl, and a block. And Kemba had a 13 assist game. Most of those coming off of feeding MKG under the rim.

Also cool how they gave Mullens range.

Early returns are I'm digging it!

Shot blocking and speed is good.. Put him on 3's some times. His rebounding is kinda low

If anyone is wondering how to get Higgins on the Bobcats roster:

360 users only: go to 2k share then press RB till you get to player DNA then press Y and search for gamertag. Search "SouljaBoy404" on the gamertag search bar. he uploaded a lot of unlocked players so just scroll down and you can find Higgins. For some reason he's not in the game, dude somehow uploaded him thought.

Only reason I downloaded him was for a realistic offline association with the Cats.

Started over my player and got drafted #2 by the Cats! Had to start it over 3 times haha.

For some reason Mully has A 50 3PT in this game.. They gave him a 87 mid range but do they not know that Mully can shoot from everywhere?

Unfortunately my MyCareer guy got drafted to the Suns, but I'm almost to the end of the second season, and I'm already up to an 87, with a bunch of endorsements and shit. I love the idea behind the mode, and I like a lot of the execution (it's miles ahead of Madden, MLB or whatever else) but it feels like it's a tad bit empty.

And the computer AI on trades and drafting and free agency is still awful.

Try an offline association bro. It's been a complete mode for the past couple of years, you can even use a real draft class so its more fun.
