... That with the current injury status of the Bobcats, that Kobe might drop 60+ on Charlotte when they play on Friday night. With no defensive inside presence in Okafor, and with no great perimeter defender in Gerald, thers nobody that has a prayer of slowing him down.

I\'d put the over/under at about 50 points for Kobe. Hopefully if Kobe gets really rolling then one of the Bobcats will have enough backbone to lay him the **** out with a hard foul.

Our only hope is if hes sitting on the bench for the entire 4th quarter.

It looks like Bernard Robinson is going to be out for Friday night\'s game against the Lakers, so if Felton is starting at shooting guard then what we\'re looking at is a rookie playing out of position and giving up 7 inches matched up against a legit MVP candidate and multi-time all star who just so happens to be on one of the most prolific scoring runs in the history of the game. Its gonna be a long night.
I feel you... I keep having this vision of Kobe on Sportscenter later tonight, after scoring 65 points in the first 2 & 1/2 quarters.

It looks like we\'re not in danger of Kobe having another gargantuan night, But I do think that hes going to get another 18 or 20 in the 4th quarter to get his 50.
Props to Raymond Felton, for the last few games hes been the best player in a Bobcats uniform.

What in the Hell has gotten into Jumaine Jones?!?!? 26 points with 8+ minutes left in the game?? He must have been saving that one up all season

Ok, OK, Maybe Kobe didn\'t score 75, snag 30 boards, sell popcorns, chips, perform dance routines during intermission etc... Maybe I was a little bit overboard with the doom and gloom, Apparently the Bobcats did have enough fight left to match up against one more team with superior talent and gut out a win.
With that being said The Bobcats played great tonight ( Raymond Felton and Jumaine Jones especially ) and they played team defense well enough to keep Kobe to reasonably sane scoring levels.
