LaMarcus Aldridge
This Texas power forward is shooting up the draft boards in a major way... He is averaging 16+ points close to 10 rebounds and shooting 62% from the field.
As good as this sounds, if the Bobcats draft another power forward, then everybody in the organization needs a lobotomy.

:ohmy:For God\'s sake, Don\'t let this guy have a good workout for Bernie Bickerstaff, Because if he does, you can guarantee that we\'ll have a 4 man power forward rotation of Okafor/May/Ely/Aldridge. It would be insanity, but I wouldn\'t put it past Bernie.

After watching his first half against N.C. State I have to say that Aldridge hasn\'t shown anything to warrant being a top 2 or 3 pick in this year\'s draft.

I think he\'s got the size and ability to make it in the top 5 draft picks. NC State has played him tough thus far, but he\'s got mad game. This guy will be a full blow star in the pro\'s.

By the end of the game NC State\'s Simmons looked more like a lottery pick than Aldridge.
2-9 from the field and 8 rebounds won\'t cut it.

It looks like Aldridge is almost officially in. According to the article here, hes already spoken with Rick Barnes and hes in the process of shopping for agents.

Should we go after him or a SG we need a SG that can get buckets bad.

In the tourney Aldridge looked soft. I\'d pick AdMo, Rudy Gay, Rodney Carney and Tyrus Thomas ahead of him.

We need a scorer about 10 times worse than another big man ... unless he can play center.
It looks like he is as good as in now, it wasn\'t much of a surprise.

According to his profile over at draftexpress they project that he\'ll be able to play either power forward OR center. Now imagine this front line defensively
Center Lamarcus Aldridge
PF Emeka Okafor
SF Gerald Wallace.
A front line like that could cause pure havoc defensively.
