The only thing that makes sense, especially after hearing Tapscott on the readio really talk down the free agents in the 2006 class is that they are trying to stay bad through 2006-2007, so they can have the a good chance to land Greg Oden. They are purposely trying to keep their win totals down.
If anybody else has a better reason for the inactivity, I\'d love to hear it.

Any team that keeps it\'s wins low just doesn\'t care about the sport. It\'s a sad day when teams do that. I think the knicks are doing that, as well as few other teams because in order to be as bad as they are you need to try. Put when you see Felton put up the numbers he is, you know somebody is working hard.

yeah...it would be unfair to the players who are really working hard...and i think it would be so frustrating and demoralizing to a player who\'s trying so hard and not getting the results he wants...

Back in November it looked like Bernie started to tank games not playing Felton and playing Rush when he wasnt making shots at all. If you look at the Bobcats games Felton, Wallace, Brevin and Jones all play hard every game but some guys dont look motivated.

I used to hear people say if you want to get a team motivated fire one of the players. I feel like if you got rid of a weak link, it would scare people into playing better. At least that would be the hope.
