There are not a lot of diffences in there game besides the winning record of the hornets and Pauls Media status. They are putting up the same ammount of numbers. I honestly can say that Bernie screwed Felton out of his rookie year by not giving him good minutes in the start of the year. Felton: No rookie all star game invite, Paul: Rookie game, Skills challenge and the USA team invite.

The problem is minutes, If they had just let Raymond Felton run the show from the start of the season, then his numbers would be just as good as Chris Paul\'s if not better.

I think that you\'ll really be able to see that Felton is just as good as CP3 next season once Ray has better talent around him.
any of these potential lineups is light years better than what we\'re working with now.

Now: Felton, Knight, Wallace, Jones, Brezec

2006-2007 possibilities:
Felton, Wallace, Morrison, Okafor, Brezec
Felton, Gay, Wallace, May, Okafor
Felton, Wallace, May, Okafor, L. Aldridge ( for a huge lineup )

I decided to do a little slumming tonight and check out the Bobcat forum, Lo and behold I find a thread where people are comparing CP3 to Raymond Felton, A guy who can\'t even win the starting point guard postion on his own team??? What are you guys drinking in Charlotte? Chris Paul is the next Isiah Thomas Raymond Felton is more comparable to someone like Terrell Brandon, a more middle orf the road, nothing special type point guard.

Have a nice day losers.

C\'mon bug man you\'re not doing any strumming over forum\'s. You live on this thing and you\'re a hater. Your guy is no good. Really, he sucks. But at least you finally got a home game tonight, props for that. Too bad the NBA should spend that money cleaning up the mess that inhabits the other 99.9% of N.O. rather than promoting a b\'ball game.

Speaking of BugMan, There always has to be one in the crowd. Thats OK though, by the time we finish with him here, We\'ll have him kicking those sorry Hornets to the curb, and turn him into a Bobcats fan.

Bobcat fan? Obviously Bugman is not. But to be honest, Felton is not in Paul\'s league. This game (any game) is not just about the scorecard full of stats. CP3 has earned the confidence, admiration, and respect of his coaches and other players (past & present) around the NBA. Felton has not. At least not to Paul\'s level.

EXCELLENT POINT: Felton can\'t win a starting position from his own coach, why should he be compared with others who have?

John J. Welcome to the board!!!:)
Way to bring to bring decisive opinions on your first post....
I have to disagree with you though. In about 2 years, once the Bobcats have some decent talent to surround Felton with, I think that Ray will be very much CP3\'s equal in stats, leadership, admiration and in the win column.

One great thing about this game is that no matter how much we debate/argue about it here, the truth will always be told on the court. If CP3 leads the Hornets to the championship and Felton doesn\'t or vice-versa, then that\'ll be all the proof that we need.

John J. Welcome to the board;) :P  B)

I\'d say the supporting cast has a lot to do with it. I mean there are so many players that can make or break a career. So right now I think that\'s the biggest difference.

Mr. Admin: Thank you for the welcome to your PLANET.

You\'re right, 2 years from now is anybody\'s bet.
I\'m not an NBA officianado but...Does Kobe have a good supporting cast or a Rookie of the Year trophy? Felton & Paul probably both wish they had a stronger team.

Right and if you look at whom they\'re playing against I\'d say the \'cats of a tougher road schd.
