based on the article here
What scares me about this is, what if have more lottery bad luck, wind up with th 5 or 6 pick, then maybe that would be low enough to actually bring Redick into play as a potential draft pick if Bickerstaff isn\'t just blowing smoke. In my opinion, Redick would be the ultimate reach at that point because he is worthy of only a mid to late first rounder at best.

If we get a good pick we better not go after Redick to sale tickets which is why we went after Sean May we needed Felton to build a team around. We need Gay or Morrison if there gone in the draft than pick JJ.

Lets hope that the marketing department doesn\'t make this year\'s draft pick.

JJ doesn\'t have the size the \'cats need to win. I\'d go for someone like the center from LSU, baby shaq. This is the type of player that will set the NBA on fire!

I like the numbers that \"Big Baby\" Glen Davis puts up, but we drafted a power forward that carries too much weight in 2005, don\'t want to do the same thing again. I wonder how much weight hes going to have to drop to be succesful in the NBA, hes at around 315 ( I think ) now.

I know man but he\'s got skills. At 315 he\'s my idol. I feel like more big men will play the game with this guy as inspiration. Shaq\'s got to be over 3 bills himself, we\'ve seen how that worked out. I actually saw shaq play in college one time, and he honestly put on 80-100 lbs once he hit the nba. Can you imagine if baby shaq put that kind of weight on? Can you say post up?

He can definitely play, but my concern is, once hes in the NBA, will he be able to use that weight to his advantage, or will he be like Oliver Miller ( from back in the day ) who needed oxygen every 2 or 3 trips down the court?

This game against LSU is the EXACT reason that the Bobcats shouldn\'t even THINK about picking him with a high draft pick this year. Once you match him up with a quick long armed defender then hes a non factor.

Watching JJ in the LSU game is a preview of watching JJ in the NBA. I think he lost at least a dozen draft spots because of stinking it up that bad against LSU. The fact was seeing that shows you need more then a good shot to be a clutch player. LSU was too physical in the game for JJ to deal with. How do you think they are going to play him in the NBA? Light handed, I think not!

It was just announced that Redick wins the AP Player of the year. But I know one thing for sure, college ball is college ball and the NBA is a different animal all together. He should treasure all of the college hype and Accolades that hes getting, because he won\'t be getting those sitting on the end of somebody\'s bench next season.

Once JJ Redick hits the NBA hes going to be a too small unathletic shooting guard, or a point guard with a nice shot, but minimal quickness and no point guard skills. Either way, his best days will be at the college level.

Big Baby is getting completely exposed out there tonight against UCLA, 12 minutes into the first half, I thought that they were going to have to rush the medics out on the court and give him mouth to mouth resucitation. Once you speed up the tempo and make him run the court, he can\'t survive.
