Anybody mess with online betting? I never have but always had friends that used to do it. My question is how do the sports bookies end up knowing more about each game than the players? I mean is the spread just a guess or what?

Its not a guess, those guys have an incredible amount of knowledge on the sports that they\'re setting up the line for, and they do extensive research on each line... Thats how they built all of those majestic hotels out in Vegas. :)
