This idea was brought up on a thread over at the HawkSquawk Forum. Last year at this time, I would have jumped all over that trade and shipped Gerald off to Atlanta, But now seeing the way that hes developed, I\'d have to pass on that one. Marvin Williams may possibly never become the player that Gerald Wallace is Today. Opinions?

I wouldnt do the trade even though Williams is shaping up to be a consistant starter for ATL. But you have to look at Gerald Wallace he is still young and he has improved greatly over the years and is having his best season in the NBA. The only thing that has me thinking about possibly making this trade is that Wallace is really injury prone he spends half of the season out in all of years in the league.

Good point about Wallace\'s injuries, his reckless all-out style of play pretty much guarantees that he misses some games each season because of injuries. Even though I\'m a big fan of Marvin Williams ( as my name might suggest :) ). I\'d still hang on to G-Force.

When you factor in the injuries that Gerald is bound to have over the course of his career, then I think that I\'d have to take Marvin Williams might not be as effective as Gerald when hes on the court, BUT at least you can feel comfortable knowing that he will probably be healthy enought to suit up for the majority of the season.
Now don\'t get me wrong, I love to players play hard, But Gerald takes playing hard to a completely different level.
