The Magic and Bobcats could pursue Nets star Vince Carter if he decides to opt out of his contract in 2007, reports Daily News writer Ohm Youngmisuk. Antoine Jamison have opt out clauses for the 07 season also and has stated that he would like to play in Charlotte.

Hes a big time player now, but I\'d rather for the Bobcats to pursue someone a little bit younger, By next offseason he\'ll be 30, and that would probably only give him about two more years of top level play. Especially for somebody who relies on their athleticism.

Injurys is turning me off this situation I want Antoine Jamison in a Bobcats uniform.
I was afraid of this. I always knew Jamison wanted to be a Bobcat. There\'s no way Charlotte could get Jamison and Carter. I also assume that Brendan Haywood wants to be a Bobcat as well, and he\'d be a nice fixture in the middle of the line up.
I just seem to believe that a lot of these guys could be good fits, and guys like Haywood (INSTEAD OF PRIMO) and Gerald Green could blossom in Charlotte more than in their current situations.
If the Bobcats could get G. Green and Haywood to go along with Felton, G. Wallace, Okafor, and May, or if the rumor about Garnett possibly being on the trading block this season and the possibility of Charlotte trying to get Garnett for Okafor, BK, and a draft pick, I could be satisfied with them not getting either Carter or Jamison.

I wouldnt trade for Gerald Green I don\'t see us getting Vince but Jamison or Kevin Garnett would own on our roster. Brevin Knight needs to stay on our roster he brings debth to the PG position Alan Anderson is not a good back up for Felton. And Emeka and May own Brandon Haywood.

Burleson would be good enough as back up PG. It\'s not about Okafor and May \"owning\" Haywood if they are on the same team. Haywood as Center, with Okafor at PF would be great, with May backing up either one. Brevin Knight could be traded as a part of any package. Fact is, Bobcats were considering trading him and Ely at the trading deadline, so they\'d still do it.
