Anybody else here fiending for the next season of HBO\'s series \"The Wire\"? I believe that its not supposed to start back up until September of this year. Its by far the best show on TV.

The wire is the best show on TV IMO I cannot wait to pick up season 3 this summer and start watching season 4.

I\'m ready to find out whos going to be running the Barksdale orginization with Stringer dead and Avon apparently headed to lockdown.

I say Slim Charles and Bodie they are the new Avon and Stringer. Bodie has the business smarts from watching bell in season 2 and Charles as both street and business smarts like Avon. I see them going up against my boy Marlo in season 4.

Those two stepping up would make the most sense, If Slim is running the Barksdale organization then you can bet that season 4 is going to be way more violent than season 3. I\'m also curious as to what role Avon\'s sister is going to play. She was really one of the big 3 in the organization (Avon, Stringer, Brianna) Now it looks shes going to be the only one left standing. The Wire is the best show on TV.

Slim reminds me the most of Avon he doesnt give a fuck he will do whatever it takes to keep the crew on top. What was the most gangsta thing Slim did in the 3rd season In your opinion? and I also think Savino will get out of jail since he would be down with his 3 year stint.

The Wire is the hottest show on TV. They just need to give us more than 13 episodes a year.
Marlo is going to do some serious damage this season since Stringer is dead and Avon is going to prison.

Wire fans, Has anybody else seen that preview for Season 4 of the wire where they show Omar busting in with his shotgun and robbing Marlo!?!? Season 4 is going to be amazing.

I watched episode 1 of season 4 last night on HBO on Demand... Snoop and Chris were completely off the chain with that nail gun. Anybody else seen it yet?
