This is from Steve Kerr\'s final analysis article on Yahoo.com
He speculates that the Hawks would be a good fit for Brevin, They do need a point guard in the worst way. It would be interesting to see if brevin would sign off on a deal that would send him to the Hawks.

Atlanta 27. Atlanta Hawks (25-55, Last ranking: 26) The Hawks will be in the market for a point guard this summer, and Brevin Knight makes a lot of sense. Pure speculation on my part, but as a member of the media, I specialize in nonfactual guesswork.

Charlotte 28. Charlotte Bobcats (24-56, Last ranking: 29) The Bobcats didn\'t win much, but they sure competed right through the final stages of the season. Give Bernie Bickerstaff and his team some credit.

I was reading somewhere about Atlanta wanting to move Marvin Williams because of they are overloaded at small forward, if you could work out some kind of deal where you swap picks if we\'re higher and throw in Brevin Knight and somehow Williams winds up in Charlotte, then that would be a steal

If we took on Marvin we would be in the same boat as the Hawks.

Who would you start? Williams or Wallace?

A beter deal (for us at least) would be:

Our pick and Knight

for

Hawks pick and Childress.

Chill can play the 2, BB was high on him in \'04, he suits what we need (defensive, long, athletic, can stroke the 3) and is young.

I\'d prefer J-Chil for us over Marvin.

Then with the Hawks pick we take Carney or Roy and our SG rotation would be sweet.

If Marvin Williams somehow wound up in Charlotte, I don\'t think that it would cause a logjam at the small forward spot. I would start Gerald Wallace and bring Marvin off of the bench as my 6th man, that way he wouldn\'t have to stand up to the pressure of being \"the man\".

If Atlanta is willing to move the #2 pick from the 2005 NBA draft then hopefully Boston is stupid enough to get rid of #18. I\'d much rather have Gerald Green than Marvin Williams. Besides, Gerald Wallace and Alan Anderson are good enough at the SF position. The Bobcats don\'t need Marvin Williams.
