State of the Cap

I agree. BK is a valuable trade asset, as is probably Jumaine Jones. I would add Emeka Okafor to that list if Kevin Garnett wants out of Minnesota and would be willing to come to Charlotte. I\'d say send the Timberwolves three players, like Knight, Okafor and Jones or Knight, May, and Carroll.

I don\'t think the Bobcats can make any trade without Knight being included, and if they did have a chance to get Garnett and stay well beneath the cap especially if they could restructure his contract, they should do so to keep that \"A.\"

The only thing that scares me away from KG is, how many more good years does he have left? 3 or 4 at his current level maybe? If you make that deal then the future is right now, Charlotte would need to be able to compete to go deep in the Eastern Conference playoffs for the next 3 to 4 years.

How old is KG? I don\'t even think he\'s 30 yet. He\'s got to have at least 5 or 6 good years left and possibly 2 or 3 great years.

I wouldn\'t trade the farm, to get KG, hes been in the league about 57 years, and has only made it to the NBA Western conference finals one time. In my opinion hes hyped up because of his style instead of substance.
