This series should really take place in the Western Conference Finals, because the winner of this one is going to breeze through the winner of the Clippers/Suns. The Mavs have been playing some of the best ball since the all-star break, (second only to the Pistons) and it looks like they\'ve finally accepted the fact that they weren\'t going to go anywhere in the playoffs until they played some defense, which they seem to have discovered this season. The Spurs have been hurt by Tim Duncan\'s Plantar Fas---, Planter Fac---.... The Spurs have been hurt by Tim Duncan\'s sore feet, he\'s playing at 75% at best of the level that he was last season, and Manu Ginobli has been nagged by injuries throughout the season, but to quote The Nature Boy Ric Flair http://www.bobcatsplanet.com/joomla/components/com_joomlaboard/uploaded/images/ricFlair.jpg \"To be the Man, You have to beat the Man\". Right Now the Spurs are STILL the Man.

My prediction, Spurs in a brutal 7 games

Gotta disagree with you Ziggy, Even though the Mavs got beat in game 1, they\'re going to win this series in 7. The Spurs give away about 2 games each series, and the Mavs are good enough to win the other 2 on their own.
